The U.S. released footage showing the USCGC Munro of the Coast Guard pursuing and securing the Russianโflagged oil tanker Marinera (formerly Bellaโฏ1) in the North Atlantic under a federal warrant for violating sanctions. The tanker was part of a shadow fleet transporting sanctioned Venezuelan oil.
The White House says the shipโs crew may face criminal prosecution in U.S. courts, and could be brought to the United States for trial if necessary.
To support Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions after a massive drone attack, power generators will be brought in from other regions, says Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Stanislav Prybyitko.
Additional emergency mobile operator crews will also be deployed to restore stable communication. Over one million residents are without heat and water due to the strikes, the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development reports.
