Es gibt offensichtlich solche DAPs mit Röhrentechnik die der heiße Scheiß sind für diese Untergruppe der vermögenden "Audiophilen" (die vermutlich alle jenseits der 50 sind und eh nicht mehr die letzten Feinheiten hören können.
Das passt auf meinen Ex-Arbeitskollegen wie die Faust aufs Auge. Er hat einen Netzfilter für 1.500 Euro, der den Strom zusätzlich glättet - und gleichzeitig ist er leicht schwerhörig 
Aber das mit den "über 50" lasse ich so nicht gelten, ich bin schließlich Mitte 50 und meine Ohren sind augenscheinlich noch sehr gut.

ich bin jenseits der 60, Ohrwascheln funktionieren noch ganz gut, aber es läßt nach. Mein alter Toshiba Receiver aus den 80ern hat eine mäßige Pilottondämpfung bei UKW. Da habe ich früher immer die Boxen etwas zur Seite gedreht, weil das Pfeifen so genervt hat, wenn ich Radio gehört hab. Inzwischen nicht mehr notwendig.
