@nopatience What I can't tell from the notice is whether the author of the Ars article used AI that fabricated the quotes, or the author quoted an external source that was written by AI which included fabricated quotes. Based on the context of this overall situation as well as Ars' internal policy on AI use, I am leaning toward the latter, which seems likely to already be an enormous problem that we have yet to actually recognize given the percentage of content on the internet that is wholly AI generated these days.

В 2025 году мошенники совершили рекордное количество хищений денег со счетов россиян — впервые за всю историю наблюдений число таких операций превысило 1,5 миллиона. Об этом сообщает «Коммерсантъ » со ссылкой на данные Банка России. По оценке регулятора и участников рынка, мошенники всё активнее смещают фокус с банковских карт на сервисы дистанционного банковского обслуживания (ДБО) и систему быстрых платежей (СБП). В целом по итогам 2025 года совокупный объём похищенных средств увеличился по сравнению с 2024 годом на 1,8 млрд руб. Снижение зафиксировано только по банковским картам — на 1,5 млрд руб., тогда как по ДБО объём вырос на 1 млрд руб., по СБП — на 1,7 млрд руб., а в сегменте электронных кошельков рост составил 70%, до 170 млн руб. Всего в 2025 году мошенники похитили  у россиян 29,3 млрд рублей против 27,5 млрд рублей в 2024-м. Участники рынка информационной безопасности связывают смещение основного объёма хищений с карт на ДБО и СБП с изменением характера мошенничества. Бизнес-архитектор департамента «Банки и финансы» компании «Рексофт» Елена Голяева отмечает, что если ранее преобладали схемы несанкционированных списаний с карты, то теперь доминируют сценарии социальной инженерии и компрометации дистанционного доступа. По её словам, карточные антифрод-системы за последние годы стали значительно жёстче и эффективнее выявляют нетипичные операции, тогда как перевод средств через мобильное приложение или СБП подтверждается самим клиентом и технически выгл ...

На суше, в воздухе или на море мы найдем вас и привлечем к ответственности », — заявили в Пентагоне, предупредив другие суда о последствиях за нарушение санкционного режима.  Как отмечает ресурс Главного управления разведки Минобороны Украины War & Sanctions, Veronica III мог использоваться для незаконной перевозки сотен тысяч тонн иранской и венесуэльской нефти. Ранее, 9 февраля, американские военные захватили в Индийском океане танкер Aquila II, входящий в российский «теневой флот». Судно пыталось скрыться, нарушив установленный президентом Дональдом Трампом карантин для подсанкционных судов в Карибском бассейне. По данным War & Sanctions, Aquila II перевозил российскую и венесуэльскую нефть.
