12 фев (Рейтер) - Цены на золото идут вниз в четверг - день спустя после релиза неожиданно сильной трудовой ‌статистики США, которая ослабила надежды на дальнейшее снижение ставок ФРС в ближайшее время.
Спотовая цена на золото к 13:25 МСК просела на 0,27% до $5.⁠064,65 за тройскую ‌унцию.
Серебро подешевело на 0,‌51% до $83,6 за унцию.
«Золото отступило от уровней выше $5.100, а серебро - от уровней ‌выше $86 после того, как обогнавшие прогноз трудовые данные США ослабили ожидания скорого снижения ставок ФРС, ‌что укрепило доллар», — сказал Уле Хансен из Saxo Bank.
«Возобновление внимания к поступающим экономическим данным свидетельствует о некоторой ‌нормализации после всплеска волатильности, в то время как предстоящее празднование Нового года по лунному календарю в Китае может еще больше снизить аппетит к риску и ликвидность», — добавил Хансен.

ЛОНДОН, 12 фев (Рейтер) - Цены на нефть идут вниз ‌в четверг после понижения Международным энергетическим агентством прогноза мирового спроса на нефть на 2026 год, возможной эскалации напряженности между США и Ираном.
Фьючерсы на нефть марки Brent к 13:50 ⁠МСК снизились на 0,5% до $69,‌05 за баррель, марки WTI - ‌подешевели на 0,42% до $64,36 за баррель. Мировой спрос на нефть будет расти медленнее, чем ожидалось ранее ‌в этом году, сообщило МЭА в четверг, прогнозируя значительный избыток предложения, несмотря на перебои, которые сократили поставки в ‌январе.
Президент США Дональд Трамп сказал после звонка с премьер-министром Израиля Биньямином Нетаньяху в среду, что стороны не достигли окончательного ‌соглашения о дальнейших шагах в отношении Ирана, но подчеркнул, что диалог с Тегераном продолжится.
Дата и место проведения следующего раунда американо-иранских переговоров пока не объявлены.

БАКУ, 12 фев (Рейтер) - Рынок капитала Азербайджана находится на пороге масштабной структурной трансформации, а к концу 2026 года оборот розничной торговли акциями может вырасти в 16 раз по сравнению с началом 2024 года, сказал в интервью Рейтер председатель правления Бакинской фондовой биржи (БФБ) Руслан ‌Халилов.
«Соотношение капитализации рынка акций к ВВП вырастет к середине 2027 года до 5% с текущих 3%, а в долгосрочной перспективе - до 10% к 2030 году», - сказал Халилов.
По его словам, БФБ переходит от модели, в которой доминируют операции репо, к развитию фундаментальной экосистемы акций и корпоративных облигаций, опирающейся на крупные IPO и цифровую интеграцию с международными ⁠торговыми хабами.
Общий оборот биржи в 2025 году снизился до 64 миллиардов манатов ($37,5 миллиарда) ‌с 71 миллиарда манатов ($41,7 миллиарда) годом ранее на ‌фоне сокращения сегмента репо. В то же время, фундаментальные сегменты показали рост: оборот рынка государственных ценных бумаг увеличился на 58,08%, рынка корпоративных облигаций - на 5,26%.
Вторичный оборот акций стал одним из самых быстрорастущих сегментов в 2025 году, увеличившись ‌на 70%.

США снимут санкции с российской нефти, если между Москвой и Киевом будет подписано мирное соглашение, заявил министр финансов страны Скотт Бессент. «Если по Венесуэле, Ирану, а также России и Украине удастся добиться урегулирования, то на рынки сможет поступить много нефти, с которой Минфин снимет санкции», — сказал Бессент в эфире Fox News. По его словам, за счет этого США рассчитывают существенно снизить мировые цены на нефть.
В то же время администрация президента Дональда Трампа приготовила новые санкции против России, которые будут введены в случае провала мирных переговоров, говорили источники Bloomberg. Новые ограничения затронут энергетический сектор и усилят давление на Москву. В частности, рассматривались меры в отношении судов «теневого флота», которые используются для транспортировки нефти по морю, и санкции против трейдеров, содействующих продаже российского топлива. Российским компаниям, не использующим контрольно-кассовую технику (ККТ, онлайн-кассы) при расчетах с потребителями в соответствии со статьей 14.5 КоАП РФ, резко повысят штрафы. Также планируется ввести повышающий коэффициент при повторных нарушениях. Соответствующий законопроект в среду был принят депутатами Госдумы в первом чтении, передает ТАСС. Внесение документа инициировало правительство в рамках выполнения поручения президента Владимира Путина по «обелению» экономики.
Законопроект повышает минимальный размер штрафов за отказ от применения онлайн-касс (в том числе переводы «мимо кассы», оплата на личную карту без чека). Юрлица за это должны будут платить 150 тыс. руб. вместо прежних 30 тыс. За использование ККТ с нарушением порядка или невыдачу кассового чека штраф вырастет с 10 тыс. до 50 тыс. руб. Если же предприниматель допустил в течение года повторное нарушение с суммой расчетов вне онлайн-кассы меньше 1 млн рублей, то штраф будет минимум двукратным (от 300 тыс. руб.), а за последующие — уже пятикратным (от 750 тыс. руб.). При этом, если финансовый поток без ККТ будет больше 1 млн рублей, компанию ждет приостановка деятельности.
Помимо этого, предлагается ввести для индивидуальных предпринимателей (ИП) в указанных случаях такую же ответственность, как и для юрлиц, а обязательную замену штрафа на предупреждение при первом нарушении — отменить.

Тургунбек уулу ⁠считался соратником Ташиева. ‌После ухода с поста ‌спикера парламента он останется депутатом.
Президент Киргизии Садыр Жапаров во ‌вторник подписал указы об отстранении Камчыбека Ташиева от должностей ‌главы ГКНБ и заместителя премьер-министра.
Ташиев узнал о своей отставке, находясь на лечении ‌в больнице в Мюнхене. В опубликованном в соцсетях обращении он назвал решение неожиданным и призвал граждан к соблюдению закона и сохранению стабильности.
После его увольнения в структурах ГКНБ началась ⁠чистка. Кроме того, по делу о массовых ‌беспорядках в столице Киргизии - Бишкеке ‌были задержаны пять человек.

МОСКВА, 12 фев (Рейтер) - Каспийский трубопроводный консорциум (КТК) снизил экспортную прокачку казахстанской нефти в ‌январе 2026 года до 3,17 миллиона тонн с 3,74 миллиона тонн в декабре 2025-го, сообщили ⁠два источника в ‌отрасли.
По их данным, ‌поставки российского сырья по КТК увеличились в прошлом месяце до 0,27 ‌миллиона тонн с 0,24 миллиона тонн в декабре.
Общий объем экспорта ‌нефти по КТК сократился в январе на 14% до 3,4 миллиона тонн (0,‌88 миллиона баррелей) с 3,98 миллиона тонн (1,017 миллиона баррелей) месяцем ранее, сообщили источники.
Отгрузки нефти по КТК последние месяцы были осложнены ударами дронов, ремонтом причалов, плохой погодой и падением добычи на ⁠Тенгизе.
Экспорт нефти КТК в феврале может упасть ‌на 35% к первоначальному плану до ‌около 1,1 миллиона баррелей в сутки, пока добыча на Тенгизе ‌восстанавливается, говорят источники.

Союзники США больше не считают их надежным партнером, на которого можно положиться в том числе в вопросах обороны. Более того, за год своего правления Дональд Трамп настроил против себя все главные развитые и ведущие развивающиеся страны, которые теперь рассматривают США как угрозу. Об этом свидетельствуют опросы, результаты которых опубликованы накануне открывающейся в пятницу Мюнхенской конференции по безопасности.
В Германии, Канаде, Франции и Великобритании гораздо больше людей охарактеризовали США как ненадежного союзника, чем как надежного; причем в первых двух такую точку зрения высказали не менее половины респондентов (50% и 57% соответственно), показал опрос , проведенный в начале февраля по заказу Politico. Во Франции доля считающих США ненадежными в два с лишним раза превысила долю людей с противоположным мнением (44% против 20%). И даже в Великобритании, полагающейся на свои особые отношения с США, число первых составило 39%, а вторых – лишь 30%.
Ждать от США военной помощи теперь тоже нельзя, считают их союзники по НАТО. Число полагающих, что враги страны побоятся атаковать ее из-за ее отношений с США, за год упало во Франции на 22 процентных пункта до 28%, в Германии – на 16% п. п. до 29%, в Великобритании – на 10 п. п. до 43%. ОСЛО, 12 фев (Рейтер) - Оптовые цены на газ в Великобритании и Нидерландах колеблются в узком диапазоне в четверг: более теплая погода и обильные ‌поставки сжиженного природного газа компенсировали необычно низкий уровень запасов в европейских хранилищах.
Фронт-фьючерс на газ в нидерландском хабе TTF к 12:52 МСК вырос на 0,18% до 32,78 евро за ⁠мегаватт-час.
Стоимость газа расчетами «завтра» в ‌Великобритании поднялась на 1,67% до ‌80,8 пенса за терм, тогда как мартовский контракт подешевел на 0,52% до 76,0 пенса за терм. «Прогноз погоды ‌стал более мягким, но очень низкие уровни запасов по сравнению с сезонной нормой не позволят рынку упасть до тех же ‌минимумов, которых он достиг в декабре», - говорится в записке Mind Energy.

Российские компании начали замораживать заработные платы IT-специалистам. С отказом работодателя от повышения оплаты труда в 2025 году столкнулись 42% программистов. Это показал опрос коммуникационного агентства iTrend и Центра анализа мировых тенденций (ЦАМТ), результаты которого приводит «Российская газета».
На этом фоне медианная зарплата в IT-отрасли в прошлом году практически перестала расти и составила на начало 2026-го 183 тыс. руб., показало исследование «Хабр Карьера». При этом в годовом выражении зарплаты у программистов выросли ниже инфляции, которая, согласно данным Росстата, по итогам 2025-го достигла 5,6%. Так, например, в Москве показатель увеличился лишь на 4%, а в Нижнем Новгороде — на 1%. В результате рост цен начал «съедать» зарплаты IT-специалистов. Происходящее в отрасли напрямую связано с экономической ситуации в стране, говорит гендиректор АНО «Национальный центр компетенций по информационным системам управления холдингом» Кирилл Семион. «Бюджеты сокращаются. Новых проектов становится меньше. Перегрев рынка в последние годы оказывает свое влияние», — отметил он.
Одновременно с остановкой роста зарплат IT-специалисты стали испытывать трудности с поиском работы — об этом сообщили 66% опрошенных агентством iTrend и ЦАМТ. МОСКВА, 12 фев (Рейтер) - Россия в январе 2026 года незначительно увеличила экспорт нефтепродуктов через свои морские порты - на 0,7% относительно декабря 2025-‌го до 9,12 миллиона тонн, по данным отраслевых источников и расчетам Рейтер.
К январю 2025 года экспортные отгрузки топлива из портов РФ сократились на 13,1%.
Суммарные поставки нефтепродуктов из балтийских портов Приморск, Высоцк, Санкт-⁠Петербург и Усть-Луга в прошлом ‌месяце выросли на 12% к декабрю ‌до 5,88 миллиона тонн, согласно данным источников.
По словам трейдеров, основной прирост пришелся на перевалку дизтоплива из Приморска и мазута из ‌Усть-Луги.
Экспорт нефтепродуктов из портов Чёрного и Азовского морей в январе упал на 18% до 2,497 миллиона тонн в ‌результате атак дронов на портовую инфраструктуру и региональные НПЗ, в том числе отгрузки из Туасе сократились на 57% до 326.600 тонн, по данным источников.
31 ‌декабря 2025 года один из причалов в порту Туапсе и оборудование на НПЗ получили повреждения в результате атаки беспилотных летательных аппаратов (БПЛА), в результате перевалка нефтепродуктов в порту и переработка нефти на Туапсинском НПЗ были приостановлены.

МОСКВА, 12 фев (Рейтер) - Завод Ямал СПГ, принадлежащий российскому производителю сжиженного природного ‌газа Новатэку , возобновляет рейдовую перевалку СПГ в Мурманской области по схеме борт-в-борт с газовозов ледового ⁠класса на обычные ‌танкеры, следует из ‌данных LSEG.
Использование такой схемы позволяет Новатэку увеличить оборачиваемость газовозов ледового класса ‌в сезон ограничений передвижения судов по Северному морскому пути в ‌зимний период для поставок в Азию.
Около острова Кильдин встали на перевалку грузов ‌танкер ледового класса Arc7 «Владимир Визе» с грузом с Ямал СПГ и газовоз Seapeak Yamal, следует из данных системы передвижения судов.
В сезоне 2024-2025 года перевалка в Мурманской области стартовала ⁠раньше - в середине ноября. В текущем ‌зимнем сезоне это первая рейдовая ‌перевалка для поставок партий СПГ в Азию.

Пользователи получают уведомления, в которых говорится, что они не могут совершать покупки, поскольку их данные «полностью или частично совпадают с данными одной или нескольких сторон из списка лиц, находящихся под санкциями правительства США или другого правительства». В Apple поясняют, что обязаны соблюдать действующее законодательство и нормативные требования. Если ранее подобные случаи были единичными, то теперь ограничения приобрели массовый характер.
Подобные совпадения могут затронуть десятки тысяч российских пользователей, которые в результате могут лишиться доступа к своим Apple ID. Владельцы устройств уже жалуются на блокировку, удаление профилей и невозможность пользоваться сервисами, отмечает Shot. Экспорт нефти из РФ в прошлом месяце упал на 0,35 миллиона баррелей в сутки до 4,67 ‌миллиона баррелей в сутки, нефтепродуктов - увеличился на 0,26 миллиона баррелей в сутки до 2,83 миллиона баррелей в сутки. Общий экспорт нефти ‌и нефтепродуктов в январе снизился на 0,09 миллиона баррелей в сутки к декабрю до 7,50 миллиона баррелей в сутки.
По подсчетам агентства, в январе РФ ‌добывала 9,30 миллиона баррелей нефти в сутки после 9,64 миллиона баррелей в сутки в декабре. Производство в январе было ниже квоты РФ в рамках сделки ОПЕК+ на 0,28 миллиона баррелей в сутки, по оценке агентства.

Ключевой краткосрочной причиной такого поведения рубля на текущей неделе может выступать нежелание наращивать позиции перед ‌завтрашним советом директоров ЦБР, в отношении решения которого у рынка сейчас нет консесуса.
В фокусе внимания остается геополитическая повестка, однако отсутствие в последние дни значимых новостей также приводит к приглушенной текущей торговле валютами.
Пара юань/рубль расчетами «завтра» к 12.00 МСК котировалась на Мосбирже по 11,15, что почти совпадает с предыдущим биржевым закрытием.
Беспоставочные однодневные фьючерсные контракты на пары юань/⁠рубль, доллар/рубль, евро/рубль котировались к этому времени на Мосбирже по 11,16, ‌77,30 и 91,84 соответственно, и рубль теряет ‌0,1% к юаню, но набирает столько же к доллару и к евро.
Пара доллар/рубль к 12.00 МСК котировалась на форексе по 77,15, согласно данным LSEG, и рубль теряет 0,1%.

СПГ-танкер ⁠Arctic Pioneer 9 ‌января забрал партию ‌СПГ с плавучего хранилища Saam FSU в Мурманске прошел через Суэцкий канал, который газовозы ‌с Арктик СПГ-2 стали использовать с наступлением сезона ограничений передвижения ‌судов по Северному морскому пути в зимний период.

Также аналитики отметили в 2025 году девять случаев национализации активов без оценки возмещения ущерба государству. По ним была изъята частная собственность на $3,8 млрд. Украинские беспилотники днем 12 февраля ударили по нефтеперерабатывающему заводу (НПЗ) «Лукойла» в городе Ухта Республика Коми, расстояние до которого от Киева составляет 2000 км. Это уже вторая атака по заводу, который играет важную роль в обеспечении топливом северных регионов России, с августа 2025 года. На территории предприятия в результате налета произошел пожар, сообщил губернатор региона Ростислав Гольдштейн. Он отметил, что, по предварительной информации, никто не пострадал.
Украинские мониторинговые каналы Exilenova+ и Supernova публикуют кадры очевидцев удара, на которых виден огромный столб черного дыма над заводом. Сообщается, что атака осуществлялась ударными дронами типа «Лютый». По информации от местных жителей, на ухтинский НПЗ упали как минимум три таких БПЛА. По данным Exilenova+, была поражена установка атмосферно-вакуумной перегонки нефти (АВТ ), которую модернизировали в 2012 году, доведя ее мощность до 2 млн тонн сырья в год. Повреждение АВТ может нарушить выпуск тяжелых нефтепродуктов и дорожных битумов, а также «дальнейшие цепи более глубокой переработки», отмечает канал. Также 15 февраля будет организован рейс из Москвы в Гавану для возвращения иностранных туристов. С 24 февраля полеты на Кубу отменяются. По данным Ассоциации туроператоров России, сейчас на острове находятся как минимум 4,2 тыс. россиян. Продажа туров приостановлена.
С 10 февраля в международных аэропортах Кубы больше не заправляют иностранные воздушные суда. Власти республики возлагают вину за топливный кризис на США. 29 января американский президент Дональд Трамп назвал Кубу «чрезвычайной угрозой» и пригрозил дополнительными пошлинами странам, которые попытаются доставлять туда нефть. Making Effective, Affordable Water Level Monitors

Water wells are simple things, but that doesn’t mean they are maintenance-free. It can be important to monitor water levels in a well, and that gets complicated when the well is remote. Commercial solutions exist, of course, but tend to be expensive and even impractical in some cases. That’s where [Hans Gaensbauer]’s low-cost, buoyancy-based well monitor comes in. An Engineers Without Border project, it not only cleverly measures water level in a simple way — logging to a text file on a USB stick in the process — but it’s so low-power that a single battery can run it for years.
The steel cable (bottom left) is attached to a submerged length of pipe, and inside the cylinder is a custom load cell. The lower the water level, the higher the apparent weight of the submerged pipe.
The monitor [Hans] designed works in the following way: suspend a length of pipe inside the well, and attach that pipe to a load cell. The apparent weight of the pipe will be directly proportional to how much of the pipe is above water. The fuller the well, the less the pipe will seem to weigh. It’s very clever, requires nothing to be in the well that isn’t already water-safe, and was designed so that the electronics sit outside in a weatherproof enclosure. Cost comes out to about $25 each, which compares pretty favorably to the $1000+ range of industrial sensors.

The concept is clever, but it took more that that to create a workable solution. For one thing, space was an issue. The entire well cap was only six inches in diameter, most of which was already occupied. [Hans] figured he had only about an inch to work with, but he made it work by designing a custom load cell out of a piece of aluminum with four strain gauges bonded to it. The resulting sensor is narrow, and sits within a nylon and PTFE tube that mounts vertically to the top of the well cap. Out from the bottom comes a steel cable that attaches to the submerged tube, and out the top comes a cable that brings the signals to the rest of the electronics in a separate enclosure. More details on the well monitor are in the project’s GitHub repository.

All one has to do after it’s installed is swap out the USB stick to retrieve readings, and every once in a long while change the battery. It sure beats taking manual sensor readings constantly, like meteorologists did back in WWII.

Per legge è comunque considerata un’arma bianca, e se la porti con te senza un valido motivo può diventare un problema. Anche un semplice taglierino se tenuto in tasca senza una giustificazione concreta può essere contestato e usato come elemento a tuo sfavore.

Non puoi mai sapere in che situazione potresti trovarti, e proprio per questo è sempre meglio evitare di portarsi addosso oggetti del genere se non strettamente necessari.

Increase Findability and Reach

One of the main themes for 2026 is discoverability. We want WordPress sites to be easier to find, follow, and recommend across the Fediverse.

FASP Support

We plan to implement support for Fediverse Auxiliary Service Providers (FASPs).

FASPs are independent services that enhance Fediverse servers with features such as cross-instance search, recommendations, and spam detection. By integrating with these services, WordPress content can appear in Fediverse discovery tools, making it easier for people to find and follow WordPress blogs.

This work is already in progress, and you can follow the implementation here:

Starter Packs

Starter Packs are shareable collections of recommended accounts designed to help people discover communities more easily.

They address the “empty feed problem” by giving new users curated lists of accounts to follow. This makes it easier to find interesting voices and become part of the network more quickly.

Reader v2

The next phase of the Reader will focus on deeper interaction and a more complete social experience.

Reactions

We plan to show likes, boosts, and comments directly in the Reader view, so users can see how posts are being received across the network.

Interactions

Users will be able to interact with Fediverse content directly from the Reader — including:

Commenting on posts
Liking posts
Boosting posts

This will make the Reader a fully interactive space, not just a passive timeline.

Activity Stream

We’ll introduce an Activity Stream to notify users about important requests and events, such as:

Follow requests
Starter Pack invitations
Other actions that require approval

Users will be able to accept or decline these directly from the interface.

Reply Context Import

We also plan to improve how conversation threads are displayed.

By parsing reply collections and context from incoming posts, the Reader will be able to fill in missing parts of a discussion, even when some replies were created before the post was indexed. This will make threads feel more complete and easier to follow.

Direct Messages

As part of the evolving Reader experience, we’re planning an initial version of Direct Messages.

This will start as a proof of concept, helping us explore the technical challenges while already delivering a useful and frequently requested feature. Over time, we’ll iterate based on real-world usage and feedback.

Client-to-Server API

In addition to server-to-server federation, ActivityPub also defines a Client-to-Server (C2S) API:

This API is primarily intended for mobile apps and other clients, allowing them to publish content directly to a server.

For WordPress, this could:

Enable mobile or third-party clients
Allow WordPress to act as a proxy for other publishing tools
Open new workflows for federated content

The first step will be enabling POST requests to the Outbox endpoint using application passwords.

Ongoing Improvements and Interoperability

Alongside these larger initiatives, we’ll continue working on a wide range of improvements across the plugin.

A key focus is better interoperability with the broader WordPress ecosystem. We want it to be easier for other plugins to integrate with the Fediverse, so that features like comments, reactions, events, and other content types can work seamlessly across federated networks.

We’re also continuing to refine the experience for long-form content. WordPress is known for blogging and publishing, and we want to make sure that articles, threads, and conversations feel natural and readable across the Fediverse.

In addition, we’ll experiment with smaller features and fun ideas, such as activity statistics and other lightweight insights, to help site owners better understand their reach and interactions.
A dashboard widget that presents an initial Fediverse Stats overview, including monthly comparisons, engagement trends over time, and top supporters.
These improvements may be smaller in scope than the major roadmap items, but together they play an important role in making WordPress a more capable and enjoyable citizen of the Fediverse.

Staying Informed

We’ll continue to share updates throughout the year.

Each release will include posts about new features and improvements. For larger initiatives, like Reader v2 or Direct Messages, we’ll publish deeper updates as the work evolves.

As always, your feedback helps shape the future of the plugin and the growing WordPress Fediverse community.

WordPress Federation: Recap of 2025

In June, we published our 2025 roadmap: Building the Future of WordPress Federation, outlining the areas we wanted to focus on for the rest of the year.
As we step into 2026, it’s time to look back at how the roadmap held up and what we shipped in 2025.
2025 at a Glance

2025 turned out to be an ambitious and, at times, challenging timeline. Even so, we were able to make meaningful progress across most of the areas we set out to work on.
Over the course of the year, we introduced the Following feature, significantly expanded moderation tooling, refined actor handling, and improved the reliability and performance of core federation workflows. Along the way, we also shipped a first experimental draft of the Reader, offering an early look at what reading the Fediverse inside WordPress could become.
Not everything on the roadmap was completed, but we’re happy with how much we were able to achieve and with the foundations that are now in place for what comes next.
Roadmap

Below is a review of the roadmap topics we outlined for 2025, what we worked on, and what remains open.
Followers / Following ✅

Work in 2025 expanded ActivityPub beyond followers by introducing the Following feature, allowing WordPress sites and users to actively follow accounts on the Fediverse.

Alongside this, we improved the reliability and performance of both follower and following lists, including better synchronization across instances and faster resolution and display of large collections.
This work also laid the foundation for later features, such as the experimental Reader.

Actors ✅

We continued refining how local and remote actors are represented and resolved. Internal refactors reduced special-case handling and improved consistency and performance across actor resolution, including follower, following, and block lists.
This work primarily affected internal behavior rather than user-facing UI.

Moderation ✅

In 2025, ActivityPub-specific moderation was significantly expanded. Site-wide and personal blocking now cover domains, keywords, and individual actors, with consistent checks applied to incoming activities.

We added blocklist subscriptions with scheduled syncing and bulk domain imports, including support for community-maintained lists such as the IFTAS DNI list. Moderation handling was also refined with improved reject behavior for quote interactions.

Reader 🧪

An experimental Reader UI was introduced behind a feature flag. When enabled, it adds a “Social Web” area to the dashboard where posts and shares from followed accounts can be read inside WordPress.
The feature is disabled by default and explicitly marked as experimental.

Direct Messages ⏸️

Direct Messages were not implemented in 2025. This remains an open roadmap topic for future consideration once related foundations mature further.
Fully Delete Profiles ✅

Deletion semantics were improved to better support explicit federated cleanup. Delete activities are now sent when WordPress users are removed, and deletion-related handling was aligned across activity processing.

A CLI-based self-destruct command was introduced to allow site owners to explicitly remove their site’s federated presence.

Client-to-Server API ⏸️

Client-to-Server API support was not implemented in 2025. No user-facing features shipped under this topic.
Beyond the Roadmap

While the roadmap helped guide our focus in 2025, not everything that shipped was planned from the start. Some features emerged from day-to-day usage, feedback, and practical needs that became clearer over time.
A few of those are worth highlighting.
Quotes

Support for quote interactions improved significantly over the year. We refined detection and handling of quoted replies and links, added proper handling for quote comments, and improved how quote permissions are revoked when quoted content is deleted. This made quoted interactions more reliable and consistent across instances.

Onboarding
We also improved onboarding for new users by adding clearer guidance and better defaults after plugin activation. This helped reduce friction for sites federating for the first time and made initial setup more approachable.

Extra Fields UI
While not originally planned as a roadmap item, work on Extra Fields resulted in a more flexible and user-friendly UI. New blocks and layout options made it easier to display federated profile data in different formats, allowing themes to choose how much structured information to surface.

Wrapping up

Looking back, 2025 was a year of steady progress. We focused on the foundations we set out to improve, shipped meaningful features along the way, and left room for unplanned work that addressed real needs as they came up.

Flora, ossia oltre 25 milioni di euro per gestire le richieste d'asilo con la blockchain

Dal 2018, l'Ufficio federale per la migrazione e i rifugiati (BAMF) sta lavorando a un sistema blockchain, ora noto con il nome piuttosto altisonante di FLORA. FLORA sta per "Infrastruttura federale blockchain per l'asilo".

FLORA, ha da tempo superato il budget iniziale. Nel 2019, a seguito dello studio di fattibilità, il progetto "Gestione dei processi di asilo sulla blockchain" avrebbe dovuto costare complessivamente 4,53 milioni di euro. Nel frattempo, i costi totali per lo sviluppo e la gestione di FLORA fino alla fine del 2025 hanno raggiunto i 25.710.867,50 euro, ovvero oltre cinque volte la stima iniziale. Le cifre inizialmente previste erano già state raggiunte nel 2020, ancor prima dell'avvio della prima operazione pilota.

Члены «Другой России Э.В. Лимонова» провели акцию, в ходе которой повесили велосипедный замок и плакат с лозунгом «Даешь интернет без надзора — Россию без Роскомпозора» на дверь офиса ведомства в Москве, говорится в телеграм-канале объединения.

Там рассказали, что сотрудник Роскомнадзора попытался открыть заблокированную дверь, но у него это не вышло.

«Политика запретительства, проводимая РКН, не обеспечивает безопасность государства: враги вербуют своих агентов по обычной мобильной связи, дроны продолжают атаковать российские города, а блокировки социальных платформ, в особенности Телеграма, лишают пророссийски настроенных деятелей патриотических площадок, необходимых для успешной информационной войны», — отметили в «Другой России».

В объединении также заявили, что Телеграм стал основным средством связи российских военных на фронте.

ЛОНДОН, 11 фев (Рейтер) - Фонд-активист Elliott Management приобрел долю в London Stock Exchange Group и ведет с ‌группой переговоры о мерах к улучшению ее показателей, сообщил в среду источник Рейтер, знакомый с вопросом. Акции LSEG, предоставляющей финансовые данные и аналитику, выросли на ⁠2,4% к 15:‌15 МСК. В предыдущие ‌12 месяцев бумаги группы упали на 35%, в том числе во время распродажи на прошлой неделе, ‌которая привела к снижению рыночной капитализации сектора программного обеспечения по всему миру почти на $1 триллион.
Точный ‌размер доли, приобретенной Elliott, не раскрывается. Источник подтвердил сведения, о которых впервые сообщила газета Financial Times: фонд контактировал с ‌LSEG с целью повысить эффективность бизнеса, провести новый обратный выкуп акций и сократить разрыв в марже по сравнению с конкурентами. Российская экономика продолжает замерзать. Индикатор бизнес-климата, который Центробанк ежемесячно рассчитывает по итогам опроса примерно 15 тыс. предприятий, в феврале составил 0,2 пункта (ноль отделяет рост активности от спада) после 1,5 пункта в январе, 2,5 в декабре и 3,2 в среднем за 2025 год.
Февральское значение — худшее с октября 2022 г., когда после «частичной мобилизации» деловая активность снизилась: ИБК тогда составил минус 1,1 пункт.
Предприятия резко ухудшили оценки своего текущего состояния: эта составляющая индекса снизилась с -4,2 до -7,8 пункта. Это минимум с мая 2022 г., как и оценки компаниями спроса на свою продукцию.
Компаний, которые наращивают выпуск, по-прежнему меньше, чем тех, кто его сокращает. Оценки изменения объемов производства (баланс ответов) остаются отрицательными с сентября 2024 г. В феврале они опустились до минимума с прошлого сентября, а до того они последний раз были хуже, чем сейчас, летом 2022 г.
Индикатор бизнес-климата удерживают в плюсе лишь надежды бизнеса на лучшее. Ожидания я феврале даже немного подросли (до 8,4 пункта с 7,4 в январе), но остаются хуже значений трех последних лет.
Другой индикатор деловой активности, индекс PMI, который рассчитывает S& P Global по итогам опроса менеджеров по закупкам, показывает спад деловой активности в промышленности с середины прошлого года.
