A very nice first day at FOSDEM. I spent time at the @matrix booth and met overwhelmingly enthusiastic people, then left it to our fabulous team of volunteers.
I’ve met Allan and @jsparber at the @gnome booth, got one of those fabulous systemd T-shirts, said hi to the @postmarketOS gang, got a T-shirt and brainstormed with @pabloyoyoista, got to thank Proxmox and OpenTofu for the great tools they provide.

It's been a really good day here at #FOSDEM and has been well worth the trip. Tomorrow I've got a few less talks and looking forward to a lot of mooching and catching up with folks.
I ended up spending later half of the afternoon in the social Web dev room and got to listen in on some talks I wasn't expecting, whole thing has been really good and I look forward to getting stuck in looking at a whole load of projects I either had been meaning to look at or had never come across before today.
Excited for tomorrow and it's great getting to spend the evening with some folks I've met today enjoying some pizza!

Questa è la retorica di chi distorce la realtà e vuole imporre una visione morale inaccettabile e vergognosa.
Il Papa citando Madre Teresa di Calcutta (la santa miliardaria in odor di sfruttamento della povertà, su cui pendono diverse denunce), sta provando a riportare la Chiesa Cattolica ai fasti medievali di un patriarcato oscurantista e retrogrado, cercando di recuperare strada rispetto agli altri fondamentalismi che pontificano e decidono sul corpo delle donne.

🔎 Chain-Of-Thoughts Hijacking against Reasoning Models
Large Reasoning Models are a class of artificial intelligence systems designed to solve complex problems by combining natural language understanding with explicit logical reasoning.
The new introduced attack is named Chain-of-Thought Hijacking, a simple jailbreak where harmless reasoning is prepended before a harmful instruction.

What I DO understand: if anything, then international solidarity is what will stop this new breed of fascists!

About ICE in Milano - this is outrageous. But it does fit a pattern of Trump pushing limits of what he gets away with.
