Hate to be that guy, but as much as the US sucks it's no Nazi Germany. Broad estimates of US war victims range up to 12 million (a liberal estimate), whereas the Nazis killed over 13 million through mass killings alone (eg the Holocaust + exterminated minorities). The Soviet Union alone lost 20 to 27 million depending on who you ask.

Even if you take the most extreme interpretation of US responsibility possible (eg adding another 1-1.7 million people for "luring" the Soviet Union into attacking Afghanistan), you don't get to 25 million. Which again, the Nazis killed in the Soviet Union alone.

Making these sorts of wild statements only invites scrutiny over the numbers and creates an argument you will lose. It's far more effective to list more recent atrocities and zoom in on individual cases and motivations. Let's also not understate the tremendous losses the Soviet Union took.

In addition to the 500k-millions of native peoples and hundreds of tribes the US systematically nearly eradicated, lets take just a few more examples.

Vietnam: 1.5M killed
Laos: 300k
Iraq: 1M
Indonesia: 500k-1M
Korea: 500k
Japan: 200k-1M in civilian bombings

And I haven't even started on operation condor and latin america yet.

The real tragedy is that of the victims who got stuck in the middle between two doctrines hell-bent on global domination.

The case of Imperial Japan is equivalent to that of Nazi Germany. A fascist regime that saw millions intentionally slaughtered and worked to death across Asia.

The US nearly completely wiped out the indigenous people who lived there

When European settlers arrived in the Americas, historians estimate there were over 10 million Native Americans living there. By 1900, their estimated population was under 300,000. Native Americans were subjected to many different forms of violence, all with the intention of destroying the community. In the late 1800s, blankets from smallpox patients were distributed to Native Americans in order to spread disease. There were several wars, and violence was encouraged; for example, European settlers were paid for each Penobscot person they killed. In the 19th century, 4,000 Cherokee people died on the Trail of Tears, a forced march from the southern U.S. to Oklahoma. In the 20th century, civil rights violations were common, and discrimination continues to this day.

Surely we'd attribute most of those murders to the British Empire and the other colonisers at the time, no? The vast majority of these people died before the US even conceptually existed.

Again, not disputing that all of this is fucking horrible, but it's not somehow "worse" than the sum of crimes committed by Nazi Germany (as far as comparing atrocities goes that is, which feels like something one shouldn't compare too much. Each one is one too many after all).

Killed an entire continent of peoples and enslaved millions of people from another one to make agricultural commodities.

Also during ww2 the US refused a ship of jews fleeing nazi germany and made them return.

They also won't make anti-semitism illegal cause freeze peach, so US cops often protect white supremacist groups during protests from righteously outraged ppl. US cops also often recruit directly from those groups, and use them to carry out illegal things actions they don't want to be responsible for. There isn't enough space here to even get into the US's anti-semitic past.

Articolo dedicato a chi ha deciso di fare questo passo, ma non sa come fare.
Hai sentito parlare di Mastodon e hai deciso di entrare nel Fediverso, ma non sai come fare? Questo articolo è fatto apposta per te.
Se hai preso questa decisione sei già a buon punto, ma se ti va puoi leggere anche questo articolo, in cui spiegavo perché dovresti entrare nel Fediverso. Ti aiuterà per capire meglio il Fediverso e anche questo articolo.
Ma permettimi di ricordare velocemente i vari punti che toccavo:
Che i social media tradizionali come Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok stanno avvelenando il web con una logica di marketing che pur di fare soldi non si ferma davanti a nulla.
Il Fediverso è un’alternativa reale a tutto questo perché non è accentrato nelle mani di un unico padrone, ma è l’insieme di tanti social network piccoli nelle mani di persone come me e te.
Facebook e gli altri accentrano: vuoi usare la mia piattaforma? Devi iscriverti regalandomi i tuoi dati, la tua vita. Facebook è unico, come Youtube, Tiktok, e gli altri. Vuoi accedere a quei social per socializzare? Devi fare un account per ogni social, e all’interno vedrai solo i contenuti di quel social network.
Il Fediverso è l’esatto opposto: decentrato, libero da padroni anche nel suo codice di programmazione. Non c’è un padrone che impone la sua convenienza, perciò le persone – questa volta davvero – hanno un peso che è identico per ognuna, non lo decide l’algoritmo.
Per tutti i motivi qui sopra e altri, il Fediverso è un’alternativa concreta e etica alla “merdificazione di internet“.
Bene, ora che sei consapevole di tuto questo, e spero sarai d’accordo con me, è arrivato il momento: entriamo nel Fediverso.
Come si fa? Beh, anzitutto dovrai scegliere uno dei tanti social network che lo costituiscono, e come fare a decidere? Come nel mondo dei social commerciali, esistono tanti social quante sono le “funzioni”, gli usi tipici o gli argomenti che l’utente vuole fare o trattare.
Ecco alcuni dei social del Fediverso, quelli che sentirai nominare più spesso, riassunti in questa tabella.

Mastodon Microblogging, cioè condivisione di brevi testi, file multimediali, link ad altri contenuti. X (Twitter), Threads.
Friendica Personal Blogging, cioè testi più lunghi, immagini, file multimediali, link ad altri contenuti. Facebook
Pixelfed Condivisione di fotografie, album fotografici, portfolio. Instagram
PeerTube Condivisione di video lunghi Youtube
Lemmy Forum e gruppi di discussione, con condivisione immagini e altri link. Reddit, Gruppi Facebook.
Ce ne sono altri, ma questi sono (secondo me) i più diffusi e quelli con cui potresti avere a che fare presto.
A quale iscriversi, dunque? Prima di questa domanda occorre chiarire una cosa: visto che il Fediverso è un insieme di tanti social network gestiti da istituzioni, volontari, (poche) aziende e persone normalissime come me e te, devi tenere presente che se vuoi iscriverti a Mastodon non ti iscriverai “a Mastodon”, perché Mastodon è solo un software!
Ti iscriverai invece ad una istanza di Mastodon, cioè una delle tantissime installazioni di Mastodon che qualcuno nel mondo ha deciso di metterti a disposizione (grazie!).
Chiarito questo, ora sì che possiamo porci “la domanda”: ma a cosa mi devo iscrivere, quindi?
Il bello del Fediverso è proprio che da un punto di vista tecnico non importa, perché da qualunque istanza potrai vedere i post degli amici che postano su qualsiasi altra istanza.
Da un punto di vista pratico, però, non ti consiglio di andare “a caso”.
Il mio consiglio è di valutare 2 cose: qual è il tuo scopo principale per stare nel Fediverso (condividere foto, pensieri corti, pensieri lunghi?).
In base a questo, io ti consiglio di valutare Pixelfed per le foto, Mastodon per i pensieri corti, Friendica per i pensieri lunghi, se ti fidi di me ti consiglio, per iniziare, di provare con Mastodon: è la tecnologia più facile da comprendere. In alternativa, Friendica.
Lascerei gli altri tipi di social per un secondo momento (a parte che potrai comunque usarli in buona parte con il tuo account di Mastodon/Friendica, ma magari lo vediamo in un altro articolo!).
Bene, la scelta non finisce qui: perché in ognuno dei social che ho citato vedrai sempre:
– post di account “locali” (non in senso geografico, ma account di persone che appartengono al tuo stesso server).
– post del “resto del mondo”:
Appena avrai accesso vedrai i post dei tuoi “compagni di istanza”, e quindi è molto importante scegliere un’istanza di persone che parlano la tua lingua, faciliterai la socializzazione.
Ultima cosa, ogni istanza ha il suo “credo”, la sua vocazione e le sue linee di comportamento, potremmo dire il suo manifesto, ed è molto più facile stare in un’istanza di persone che condividono i tuoi principi piuttosto che entrare a caso e poi, eventualmente, migrare più tardi altrove in un’altra istanza (si, si può fare, ma perché non risolvere subito?
In sostanza, controlla bene il “manifesto” dell’istanza a cui ti stai iscrivendo.
Ma bando alle ciance, ora basta con la filosofia! Come ci si iscrive, come si fa?
Ora che sei un esperto/a del Fediverso, se mi hai seguito fino a qui, tutto diventa più facile.
Esistono siti che riportano elenchi di istanze dei vari social (Mastodon, Pixelfed, Friendica, Lemmy, Peertube). Eccone qualcuno:

Qui si può venire aiutati a scegliere la propria istanza per argomento o regione, e si legge che esiste un “original server”:

anche se è il server originale, ti sconsiglio di entrare lì, perché è un’istanza di persone che si relazionano prevalentemente in inglese. Ti sentiresti un po’ “solo” all’inizio.
Piuttosto, prova a dare un’occhiata qui: mastodon.it/istanze-mastodon-i…
C’è un elenco (non esaustivo probabilmente) di istanze italiane, alcune addirittura locali. Personalmente ho scelto mastodon.uno perché ne condivido il manifesto.

Ce ne sono molte, ma come vedrai l’istanza italofona al momento è solo una: poliverso.org
Se decidi per Friendica, leggi bene le istruzioni a questa pagina e i termini d’uso, poi una volta iscritto, leggi per bene le istruzioni che ti verranno inviate. Sono utilissime, e seguirle ti aiuterà ad entrare prima nel “mood” della piattaforma”.
Nota: l’app ufficiale per android di Friendica sarebbe Raccoon, ma personalmente trovo che “Fedilab” sia fatta molto meglio.
Lemmy: un’interessante alternativa
Le istanze Lemmy italiane sono molto interessanti secondo me. Raccolgono tante Comunità (pensale come dei gruppi di Facebook) e in ogni comunità ogni giorno vengono inseriti e condivisi post inerenti notizie e novità di tutti i tipi, dalla politica, ai viaggi, ai fumetti, a tutto quello che ti passa per la testa. E, se manca, puoi creare tu un gruppo (Comunità)

Ich finde es immer wieder erschreckend, wie groß die Unwissenheit vieler NT bezüglich des Spektrums ist. In den Augen dieser Menschen sind autistische Menschen wohl immer sozial inkompatible, gefühllose Wesen. Und natürlich gilt für sie immer der Umkehrschluss, d.h. sozial problematisch = Autist.

Autisten sind nicht mehr alleine. In Sachsen können wohl um die 30% der Erstklässler nicht richtig sprechen. Später sind das Drohnen, die nichts sehen, was nicht auf dem Handy angezeigt wird. Lehrer sitzen in Klassen, die Muttersprachen aus aller Welt haben, aber kein Kind kann Deutsch, was man hier eventuell als Gemeinsprache ansehen würde. Gut, ist nicht überall so, aber besonders in urbanen Gebieten ist da wohl ein Problem. Eine Lehrkraft hat heute kein Unterrichtsfach mehr - sagen wir Mathe, Geographie oder Deutsch sind nur so die Anreißer. Die müssen halt als Deutschlehrer nicht mehr Faust I oder II diskutieren, sondern beibringen, was ein Substantiv ist. Das machen sie nicht mehr, reicht schon, wenn man miteinander in einer Sprache spricht. In die Uni kommen dann Leute, die nicht lernen können. Da hat sich die oberste Schülersprecherin in Sachsen letztens drüber ausgelassen: man würde an der Schule nicht mehr Lernen lernen...... mostra di più

Ich wusste viele Jahre nicht, das ich autistisch bin. Ich wusste nur, dass ich anders bin, als andere. Also für andere eben kompliziert. Nachdem ich nun von meinem Autismus weiß und das auch entsprechend kommuniziere, ist meine Erfahrung, dass dieser Fakt oft nicht ernst genommen wird. Die Tatsache wird von einigen sogar "verstümmelt". Für mich gilt in diesen Fällen: Mit diesen Menschen werde ich nicht weiter umgehen. Sie sind mir mit ihrer "emotionalen Intelligenz" gesprächstechnisch überlegen. Jegliche Mühen meinerseits demnach für die Tonne. Also ignoriere ich. Und das kann ich wirklich gut.

Ich habe keine offizielle Diagnose, aber es würde vieles erklären. Und mir sagen Leute aus dem Spektrum auf den Kopf zu, dass sie denken, dass ich im Spektrum sei.

Da ich keine offizielle Diagnose habe, halte ich mich in der Regel zurück, darüber zu reden - außer wenn ich mit Leuten im Spektrum bzw. mit guten Freunden spreche.

Hi old school video nerds:
I use (PAL) analogue+"obselete" equipment such as video mixers, amiga, tube+dv cameras, whatevers lying around to make music videos.

I capture video with a ADVC 300 with firewire on a win 7 pc. It's stable. I have tried various USB2+3 capture cards/HDMI converters Elgato capture boxes on win10 and found them glitchy/lower quality/framedropping etc

Is there anything modern that has the quality and stability to capture composite video that I can use with a new laptop (usb3 I guess) before I continue capturing video with my old method? I did see some Roland stuff like the VR4HD captured n streamed composite but its a bit pricey and only has one composite input and loads of HDMI ones which I don't need.

Also sadly my Fairlight CVI video synth broke last year and I haven't found anyone with the expertise to fix it...It's niche but no harm in asking if there's anyone who knows something bout em

For anyone interested, Paul Williams - Operation Gladio details how from the 1960s onward, the CIA took over all international drug trade, and took a cut as a middle-man to fund all their black ops and right-wing dictatorships, used the drug trade as a weapon and sold to communities they wanted to impoverish, as well as telling the FBI to fuck off anytime they got caught importing drugs to the US. They only had to fold a lot of this up after it got exposed by journalists in the 1990s (many of whom they assassinated like Gary Webb).

Die Bedienung der U-Bahn-Türen ist einfach. Wenn der Kreis um die Taste grün leuchtet, ist die Tür zu öffnen. Hat man dann die Taste gedrückt, wechselt der Ring in ein grün-rot-Muster. Alternativ kann man natürlich auch im Zehntelsekundentakt auf den Knopf eintrommeln.

In der Nähe von Barnstorf ist eine Person bei 200 km/h aus dem ICE ausgestiegen, aus dem gleichen Waggon in dem ich saß.
Schien noch eine Weile gelebt zu haben - das Bahnpersonal holte schnell einige Wasserflaschen aus dem Speisewagen. Also nicht empfehlenswert - nicht nachmachen !

Se hai preso questa decisione sei già a buon punto, ma se ti va puoi leggere anche questo articolo, in cui spiegavo perché dovresti entrare nel Fediverso. Ti aiuterà per capire meglio il Fediverso e anche questo articolo.
Ma permettimi di ricordare velocemente i vari punti che toccavo:

Che i social media tradizionali come Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok stanno avvelenando il web con una logica di marketing che pur di fare soldi non si ferma davanti a nulla.
Il Fediverso è un’alternativa reale a tutto questo perché non è accentrato nelle mani di un unico padrone, ma è l’insieme di tanti social network piccoli nelle mani di persone come me e te.
Facebook e gli altri accentrano: vuoi usare la mia piattaforma? Devi iscriverti regalandomi i tuoi dati, la tua vita. Facebook è unico, come Youtube, Tiktok, e gli altri. Vuoi accedere a quei social per socializzare? Devi fare un account per ogni social, e all’interno vedrai solo i contenuti di quel social network.
Il Fediverso è l’esatto opposto: decentrato, libero da padroni anche nel suo codice di programmazione. Non c’è un padrone che impone la sua convenienza, perciò le persone – questa volta davvero – hanno un peso che è identico per ognuna, non lo decide l’algoritmo.
Per tutti i motivi qui sopra e altri, il Fediverso è un’alternativa concreta e etica alla “merdificazione di internet“.

Bene, ora che sei consapevole di tuto questo, e spero sarai d’accordo con me, è arrivato il momento: entriamo nel Fediverso.

Come si fa? Beh, anzitutto dovrai scegliere uno dei tanti social network che lo costituiscono, e come fare a decidere? Come nel mondo dei social commerciali, esistono tanti social quante sono le “funzioni”, gli usi tipici o gli argomenti che l’utente vuole fare o trattare.

Ecco alcuni dei social del Fediverso, quelli che sentirai nominare più spesso, riassunti in questa tabella.

Ce ne sono altri, ma questi sono (secondo me) i più diffusi e quelli con cui potresti avere a che fare presto.

A quale iscriversi, dunque? Prima di questa domanda occorre chiarire una cosa: visto che il Fediverso è un insieme di tanti social network gestiti da istituzioni, volontari, (poche) aziende e persone normalissime come me e te, devi tenere presente che se vuoi iscriverti a Mastodon non ti iscriverai “a Mastodon”, perché Mastodon è solo un software!
Ti iscriverai invece ad una istanza di Mastodon, cioè una delle tantissime installazioni di Mastodon che qualcuno nel mondo ha deciso di metterti a disposizione (grazie!).

Chiarito questo, ora sì che possiamo porci “la domanda”: ma a cosa mi devo iscrivere, quindi?

Il bello del Fediverso è proprio che da un punto di vista tecnico non importa, perché da qualunque istanza potrai vedere i post degli amici che postano su qualsiasi altra istanza.

Da un punto di vista pratico, però, non ti consiglio di andare “a caso”.

Il mio consiglio è di valutare 2 cose: qual è il tuo scopo principale per stare nel Fediverso (condividere foto, pensieri corti, pensieri lunghi?).

In base a questo, io ti consiglio di valutare Pixelfed per le foto, Mastodon per i pensieri corti, Friendica per i pensieri lunghi, se ti fidi di me ti consiglio, per iniziare, di provare con Mastodon: è la tecnologia più facile da comprendere. In alternativa, Friendica.

Lascerei gli altri tipi di social per un secondo momento (a parte che potrai comunque usarli in buona parte con il tuo account di Mastodon/Friendica, ma magari lo vediamo in un altro articolo!).

Bene, la scelta non finisce qui: perché in ognuno dei social che ho citato vedrai sempre:
– post di account “locali” (non in senso geografico, ma account di persone che appartengono al tuo stesso server).
– post del “resto del mondo”:

Appena avrai accesso vedrai i post dei tuoi “compagni di istanza”, e quindi è molto importante scegliere un’istanza di persone che parlano la tua lingua, faciliterai la socializzazione.

Ultima cosa, ogni istanza ha il suo “credo”, la sua vocazione e le sue linee di comportamento, potremmo dire il suo manifesto, ed è molto più facile stare in un’istanza di persone che condividono i tuoi principi piuttosto che entrare a caso e poi, eventualmente, migrare più tardi altrove in un’altra istanza (si, si può fare, ma perché non risolvere subito?

In sostanza, controlla bene il “manifesto” dell’istanza a cui ti stai iscrivendo.

Ma bando alle ciance, ora basta con la filosofia! Come ci si iscrive, come si fa?
Ora che sei un esperto/a del Fediverso, se mi hai seguito fino a qui, tutto diventa più facile.

Esistono siti che riportano elenchi di istanze dei vari social (Mastodon, Pixelfed, Friendica, Lemmy, Peertube). Eccone qualcuno:

Qui si può venire aiutati a scegliere la propria istanza per argomento o regione, e si legge che esiste un “original server”:

anche se è il server originale, ti sconsiglio di entrare lì, perché è un’istanza di persone che si relazionano prevalentemente in inglese. Ti sentiresti un po’ “solo” all’inizio.

C’è un elenco (non esaustivo probabilmente) di istanze italiane, alcune addirittura locali. Personalmente ho scelto mastodon.uno perché ne condivido il manifesto.

Se decidi per Friendica, leggi bene le istruzioni a questa pagina e i termini d’uso, poi una volta iscritto, leggi per bene le istruzioni che ti verranno inviate. Sono utilissime, e seguirle ti aiuterà ad entrare prima nel “mood” della piattaforma”.

Nota: l’app ufficiale per android di Friendica sarebbe Raccoon, ma personalmente trovo che “Fedilab” sia fatta molto meglio.

Lemmy: un’interessante alternativa

Le istanze Lemmy italiane sono molto interessanti secondo me. Raccolgono tante Comunità (pensale come dei gruppi di Facebook) e in ogni comunità ogni giorno vengono inseriti e condivisi post inerenti notizie e novità di tutti i tipi, dalla politica, ai viaggi, ai fumetti, a tutto quello che ti passa per la testa. E, se manca, puoi creare tu un gruppo (Comunità)

5 января в Нью-Йоркесостоялось первое заседание по делу свергнутого и похищенного президента Венесуэлы Николаса Мадуро. В суде он не признал себя виновным.

«Я не виновен. Я порядочный человек. Я по-прежнему президент своей страны», — заявил 63-летний Мадуро на испанском в федеральном суде Манхэттена.

Жена Мадуро, Силия Флорес, также заявила о своей невиновности. Следующее судебное заседание назначено на 17 марта.

Какие обвинения выдвинуты против Мадуро?

▪️ Мадуро обвиняется в руководстве сетью по торговле кокаином совместно с международными наркокартелями. Ему предъявлены четыре уголовных обвинения: наркотерроризм, сговор с целью ввоза кокаина, хранение пулеметов и взрывных устройств.

▪️ В обвинительном заключении утверждается, что Мадуро и другие венесуэльские лидеры на протяжении более 25 лет

«злоупотребляли своим положением общественного доверия и коррумпировали некогда законные институты для ввоза тонн кокаина в Соединенные Штаты».

▪️ Мадуро давно отрицает эти обвинения, заявляя, что они являются прикрытием для империалистических замыслов в отношении нефтяных запасов Венесуэлы.

«Даже в условиях тяжелейшего испытания его позиция остаётся позицией уверенности, достоинства и лидерства. Он знает: его народ стоит и будет стоять, а революция не падет».

▪️ В комментарии Родригес называет венесуэльскую оппозицию«коллаборационистами». Вероятно, из-за того, что представительница оппозиции Мачадо лестно высказывалась о Трампе после получения премии и провела телефонный разговор с президентом США.

▪️ В то же время в Венесуэле существует часть левой оппозиции, исповедующей антиправительственные взгляды, которая не лояльна ни американским властям, ни режиму Мадуро.

▪️ Так, в интервью изданию Left Voice венесуэльский социалист Мильтон Де Леон одновременно называет операцию США «империалистической атакой», но также обращает внимание на то, что по сути режим Мадуро не имеет поддержки в народе и считается авторитарным даже со стороны левых.

«С нашей точки зрения, Мадуро явно не был социалистом. Его правительство стало репрессивным, авторитарным и квазидиктаторским. В последнее время оно навязывает экономические планы, которые соответствуют интересам бизнес-секторов — и даже интересам иностранных транснациональных корпораций», — говорит Де Леон.

@trashHeap There's such a rift of confusion between the people either bedazzled or/and vested in the fooling machines and the people who are not that it definitely can be alienating. It feels different from the blockchain/crypto/NFT grifts because they were only about money, whereas with GenAI the tech itself warps its own perception.

Non conosco quella di roma, e ho preso solo una manciata di (orribili) volte quelle di torino e milano, quindi non posso fare un vero confronto, anche perché ho viaggiato su tre della quindicina di linee ma minchia la metropolitana di parigi è FANTASTICA.
Fai il biglietto dal telefono (non proprio in frettissima ma generalmente funzia), le corse sono frequentissime (c'è l'occasionale ritardo perché qualcuno si dimentica uno zaino ma non è la norma) e a parte gli orari di punta non si sta neppure troppo pressati. Magnifico.

Costicchia anche, ma mi dicono che se lavori in zona è obbligatorio per il datore di lavoro pagarti metà dell'abbonamento, il che lo rende davvero, davvero interessante.

Non so se voglio davvero immaginarmi quanta roba archeologica è stata macinata per sforacchiare il sottosuolo della città, ma anche la crescita delle città con i cambiamenti che ciò comporta è una cosa naturale, e anche gli sforacchiamenti di chiese precristiane verranno letti dagli archeologi del

Pure io!
Da piccolo piccolo ero convinto fosse un gusto tipo zuppa inglese (crema + alchermes) e non capivo come facesse la gente a preferirlo al superiore cioccolato.
Poi crebbi, capii che non era ovviamente un gusto bensì una macchina per fare la crema, e sollevavo un sopracciglio quando sentivo che c'era da oliare la cremagliera con l'olio o il grasso da macchina.
Solo dopo un po' realizzai che non c'entrava nulla con la crema.

Россиянка Ирина Кузнецова умерла на Шри-Ланке от лихорадки денге после укуса комара. Об этом сообщила «Российская газета» со ссылкой на источник.

Кузнецовой было 33 года, она фотограф. Несколько лет назад женщина решила переехать на Шри-Ланку, где устроилась арт-директором в кафе.

Симптомы заболевания проявились у Кузнецовой 21 декабря, рассказали ее знакомые SHOT. По их словам, сначала россиянка решила, что у нее пищевое отравление, поэтому пыталась лечиться самостоятельно, а к медикам обратилась только через два дня.

Кузнецову положили в больницу Галле, где диагностировали лихорадку денге. После госпитализации у женщины начались осложнения, сказали ее друзья. По их словам, во время лечения россиянке «через трубку для диализа занесли сепсис» и у нее началось заражение крови.

Выступления, поводом для которых стали скачок цен на продукты и медикаменты на фоне резкого падения курса национальной валюты, охватили 27 из 31 провинции Ирана, отметили правозащитники. Во вторник прошла сидячая забастовка на Большом базаре в Тегеране, экономическом центре страны. Часть торговцев закрыли магазины, а другие уселись перед силовиками, следует из кадров и свидетельства очевидцев. В Литве задумались о лишении Леонида Волкова ВНЖ

Власти страны заинтересовались высказываниями руководителя политических проектов ФБК Леонида Волкова о главе РДК и украинских чиновниках, которые тот сделал в личной переписке. Об этом сообщило Delfi.

Департамент миграции Литвы обратился в Департамент государственной безопасности с вопросом, представляют ли высказывания Волкова «угрозу национальной безопасности».

В случае, если ответ будет положительным, может быть принято решение об аннулировании вида на жительство российского оппозиционного политика в Литве.

Поводом стало сообщение, которое Волков в конце декабря написал бывшей сотруднице ФБК Анне Тирон, которая сейчас работает в РДК.

Из скриншотов, которые опубликовала Тирон, следует, что российский политик порадовался «гибели» командира РДК Дениса Капустина, а также критически высказался об украинских чиновниках.

Qui fa parecchio freddo e ho dovuto accendere il caminetto oltre alla stufa a legna. Altrimenti la bolletta del gas mi va alle stelle. Da luglio 2025 Eni mi ha quasi raddoppiato il prezzo del gas. Il calore della legna è impagabile, ma sporca. Io uso un bidone aspiracenere per la pulizia, aiuta molto, ma poi il bidone va svuotato e i filtri vanno puliti ed è inevitabile sporcarsi le mani. C'è tanto lavoro anche a tagliare e preparare la legna da ardere. Va bene per chi è giovane e in salute.

Sto provando Windows su VM con KVM/qemu caspita come viaggia! Ho impostato il disco con emulazione virtio (driver obbligatorio in fase installazione windows). Sinceramente non ho ricordanza di averlo visto girare cosi veloce, sia versione desktop che server.

io ci sono impazzito per un bel po' perchè non sapevo che si dovesso attivare delle funzioni di emulazione nel bios che erano disattivate sul mio thinkpad, ma poi cavolo che scheggia!
LO uso per testare le varie distro giusto per curiosità, per fortuna non ho più bisogno di windows da anni ormai.

@filippodb È si, Linux su Linux lo davo per scontato, ma non mi aspettavo che emulando Windows funzionasse così veloce. Ora capisco perché proxmox ha avuto molto successo a discapito di Vmware.

@grabbi_it @filippodb Per fortuna 5 anni fa quando ho comprato il pc (desktop) ho optato per 64gb di ram! Adesso ho cambiato CPU, va una scheggia con tutto. Fortuna che AMD nel 2024 ha fato uscire dei processori moderni compatibili con socket AM4 (quello della mia scheda madre).

@grabbi_it alla faccia! 64GB e io che pensavo di averne tanta con 16Gb sul laptop!
Comunque l’unica volta che sono rimasto a secco di ram è stato proprio quando ho tentato di lanciare una IA in locale e quindi comprendo bene perché si stiano comprando tutta la ram esistente. Per fortuna i miei 16GB mi basteranno per molti anni ancora…

@filippodb non sono ancora rimasto a secco (benedetto ballooning) ma la RAM è un pó come il ragù: non è mai troppa 😉 scherzi a parte devo costruire un lab di test per un corso di CS e mi serviranno diversi host e server alcuni anche pesantucci con Onion e simili, spero siano sufficienti…

@dajelinux fa conto che non sono uno che usa la virtualizzazione, ma per curiosità avevo provato negli anni e non ci ero mai riuscito, non ero proprio a conoscenza di una opzione bios per la virtualizzazione, quindi il problema ero proprio io 😅
