It is obvious that ever since of the fall of Assad and Russia's failed war in Ukraine that despots around the globe better have a plan B, when the heat at home is too high. Apparently, this is also the case with the mullahs in Iran.
"The Times" has obtained intelligence reports that Khamenei and his inner circle of around 20 aides have hammered out a plan to leave Tehran, if the ongoing protests cannot get under control and even escalate to the point that security forces start to defect.
Following the fall of Maduro, many Russian war bloggers are starting to realize in what bad shape Russia is. The events in Venezuela are unanimously considered a strategic Russian defeat, and they admit that Russia is currently too weak to help any Russian allies.
Not only the "investments" are gone, the very future of Russia is at stake. Russian allies such as Syria, Iran and Venezuela are getting lost or neutralized, without Moscow having even a chance to counter it.

Vasyl Malyuk has reportedly agreed to resign as head of Ukraine’s SBU after growing pressure from President Zelensky. Malyuk had initially refused, citing key ongoing operations, including one comparable to “Spiderweb,” and warned that stepping down would harm national security.
Despite public and military support, Zelensky, frustrated by what he viewed as an SBU-led media push, threatened to remove him. The President’s Office also accused the SBU of undermining anti-corruption efforts.
Russia once again attacked Ukraine at night, with around 300 UAVs and up to 10 ballistic missiles, focusing the main strike on Kyiv. Hits were recorded in Chernihiv, Vyshhorod, Kharkiv, and the capital, where a private hospital was damaged. 1 person was killed, four more got wounded.
Zelensky responded: “Last night, Russia ‘defeated’ another hospital in Kyiv. There are casualties, including one fatality. Patients had to be evacuated. Ukrainians will rebuild, as we always do.”
The leaders of all Nordic countries - Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland - express their strong support for Denmark and Greenland.

Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump laid out a hardline vision for Latin America. On Venezuela, he said the U.S. needs “full access to their oil and resources” and warned of another strike if Caracas “doesn’t behave.” He called the seizure of U.S. assets “the biggest theft in our history.”
On Colombia, Trump accused its leader of fueling the cocaine trade and warned, “He won’t be doing it much longer.” He also said Cuba’s “days are numbered,” citing its record of repression.

In case you need more evidence that ICE is a lawless agency, here's more: a lawsuit over inhumane detention conditions on floor 6 of ICE building in San Francisco resulted in a preliminary injunction. So ICE moved detainees to floor 5, claiming that skirts the injunction. Judge says, no way.
