Although the Tangerine Tyrant claims the removal of the National Guard from Chicago, Los Angeles & Portland (all coincidentally with Democratic mayors) is because their presence immediately reduced crime levels, actually they're leaving because the Supreme Court has not supported Trump's claim to have the authority to deploy the NG over the objections of local administrations.

Here the US constitution alongside the USSC seems to have acted as democrats (with a small 'd') hoped.
