According to Ukraine's Joint Forces spokesperson Viktor Trehubov, Russian troops abducted around 50 civilians, mostly elderly, from the village of Hrabovske, Sumy region, after gathering them inside the local church. These residents had previously refused evacuation. Within hours, they were marched into Russian territory.
Ukraine's Ombudsman confirmed the abductions, saying civilians were detained without communication or basic conditions before being deported on December 20.
