I’ve just realised what the current moral rage of Musk and Vance reminds me of - long ago I’ve been reading Edwin Black’s “War Against the Weak: Eugenics and America’s Campaign to Create a Master Race” (2003). The title says it all but the contents are eye opening.

That movement from 1930’s United States was quite similar to the today’s one in its fierce xenophobia and disrespect for the very idea of rights.
