Studio interessante di 9 anni fa sulla dislessia e i caratteri: in breve, non sono stati notati miglioramenti nella lettura usando il carattere Open Dyslexic (il più gettonato). In generale, non sembrano esserci prove che questi caratteri funzionino, per quanto vengano sbandierati come efficaci - con anzi il rischio di portare ancora più frustrazione alle persone dislessiche, che al non notare cambiamenti potrebbero sentirsi sbagliate.

Two recent novels I really loved:

'Slow Gods' by Claire North, fun space opera about religion, capitalism, the costs of war, neurodiversity.

'The Glass Slide World' by Carrie Vaughn, alternate history with magic, with a really great magic system based on biology. Also about spies, colonialism and war. I really loved the first in the sequence too (but they are pretty independent from each other).

I also reread most of Tortall this fall, was busy with that for a few weeks

Как отмечает издание, производители памяти не справляются с возросшим спросом, а запасов уже произведенной памяти еще в октябре стало хватать на две-четыре недели, вместо трех-восьми в июле и 13-17 недель в конце 2024 года.
