Ieri la mia bimba più piccola è venuta a casa piangendo perché i suoi compagni di scuola sostengono che "gli #hacker sono tutti cattivi e rubano i dati".
La mia prima risposta è stata che al momento i maggiori ladri e ricettatori di dati sono #Google, #Microsoft, #Amazon, #Facebook, #IBM e #Apple (la #GMAFIA, ex #GAFAM).
Quando però mi ha risposto mortificata che aveva provato a spiegarlo, ma loro gli dicevano che questi sono "i buoni che ci difendono dagli hacker", ho provato a cercare con lei il termine hacker sulla enciclopedia #Treccani che, sebbene proponga una definizione un po' stereotipata e superficiale, almeno mi ha aiutato a rassicurarla che il suo papà non è un mostro cattivo.
Che sarà di quei bimbi che credono ciecamente nella bontà delle #BigTech?

During the German occupation, he was active in the underground organisation Stronnictwo Ludowe (People's Party) "Roch". On 18 July 1942, he was arrested and interrogated by the Gestapo in Nowy Sącz and Cracow.
He perished in Auschwitz on 20 May 1943.

Yesterday, a court in #Jersey, selected by the British Government (!) because it would sit without a jury, refused to convict peace activist, Nathalie strecker.
In one of the most Orwellian cases imaginable, she was charged under terrorism offences - a vocal and well known pacificist, note - and a British Government paid QC directed the Jersey Government's prosecution. WTAF???

@DataKnightmare sì, comunque Mobilizon (che è stata creata da Framasoft e che ora è in mano a una no-profit ad hoc) è una interessante alternativa a Eventbrite pur con le sue complessità e i suoi limiti (mancano le funzioni di ticketing)
C'è da dire però che Mobilizon nasce sopratutto per offrire un'alternativa a Facebook Eventi, più che a Eventbrite. Ricordo che eventi Facebook e gruppi Facebook sono i due asset strumentali strategici che Facebook mette a disposizione del pubblico
