There were lots of folks in MS when I was there who were willing to tell management that this was a mistake. They were the ones given lower bonuses and told that they needed to get behind the corporate priorities. Some of them found niches where they could work on something they found interesting without management noticing, a lot more left. The people who were promoted were the ones who either had terrible judgement or were willing to lie to management.
The board needs to hold Satya Nadella and Kevin Scott accountable for creating that environment. If not, shareholders might start asking why 20% of the company’s value was wiped out in six months.

The Sumud flotilla, the largest attempt to break Gaza’s naval blockade, set sail in late August 2025 and was intercepted by the Navy on Yom Kippur. The ships were towed to Israel and activists deported.

According to a Saturday report in the New York Times, concern over ICE’s brutality has grown to such an extent that many Minnesota residents, including both documented immigrants and US citizens, have started wearing passports around their necks to avoid being potentially targeted.CNN on Friday reported that ICE has been rounding up refugees living in Minnesota who were allowed to enter the US after undergoing “a rigorous, years-long vetting process,” and sending them to a facility in Texas where they are being prepared for deportation.
