Eliminazione dipendenza US
Buongiorno a tutti.
Nel mio sforzo per eliminare la dipendenza da servizi basati in US ho fatto alcuni passi avanti.
Nell' ordine
- Nas per rimuovere i servizi di Cloud storage
- PC mio e della moglie migrati a Linux con Libre Office
- mail su dominio personale .It su server Aruba
- automazione casa basata su open source (home assistant) senza dipendenze Google/Amazon/Apple
- sto spegnendo tutti i social, mi resta reddit ma eccomi qui per cercare di togliermi anche quello.
Qualche cosa mi manca ancora ed eventuali suggerimenti sono benvenuti:
- cloudflare tunnel per pubblicare i miei album fotografici ed accedere al mio home assistant
- YouTube :(
- Claude ( sto provando le chat)
- Amazon ma sto guardando AliExpress
- Android (il più difficile da togliere)
Voi cosa state facendo per ridurre le dipendenze dalle aziende americane?

per quanto riguarda l'Ia e lo spazio cloud, ti consiglio di guardare infomaniak, è svizzero. Prezzi bassi, 1 TB di spazio e assistente chatbot alimentato ad energia rinnovabile.
Per android, dai un'occhiata a eOS, FairPhone (telefono con eOs), oppure Jolla (linux).
Io ho installato Lineage OS su 1 dei 2 smartphone.
Per Aliexpress...hai solo scelto un carnefice diverso. Amazon è difficilmente sostituibile, ma AliExpress non la vedo come alternativa più etica.
Come altri hanno raccontato, anch'io ho self-hostato qualcosa: nextcloud, che uso come centro per i servizi della famiglia, Bitwarden per le password, e un'istanza Peertube che alimento quando posso (video.simoneviaggiatore.com).
Per finire, linux mint che uso sempre di più (ma non esclusivamente) e mx linux o debian su macchine vecchie.
Sto usando un eeepc del 2008 come backup server con debian. Un miracolo!

Tonight I thought, why not get these old TTGO LilyPad or whatever they are called ESP32 LoRa modules I have had sitting around since like 2018 loaded with #meshtastic and try it out?
One of the images loaded on one of them, but won't pair with bluetooth. The other modules there is no clear way to know what model of firmware is supposed to go with the hardware, so I played whack a mole with a bunch of different versions and gave up after an hour.

Aggiungo: il tono dell'articolo non mi piace, 'sta storia di "una luce speciale" quando si parla di ciechi è l'abilismo e tokenismo di gusto più pessimo del pessimo. Forse "più pessimo" non si può dire perché è già assoluto, ma di fronte ai giornalisti che ritengono un evento eccezionale quando una persona disabile visiva ha fatto 200 metri con la torcia in mano, mi pare che la grammatica del "più pessimo" sia il male minore.

Stavolta però mi sento davvero delusa da un governo che pensa che la facciata giustifichi le vittime; ho sempre mantenuto la cittadinanza italiana, mi credi se ti dico che sto pensando seriamente a rinunciarvi?
Riporto anche il commento che riassume tutto il mio pensiero. Poi vorrei davvero lasciare che parlino i risultati della magistratura e non i politici (e qui la gif "ah, pure perito forense, stikazzi").

in reply to Claudia • • •quando parlo di governo, aggiungo spesso l'espressione "pro tempore": il governo è transitorio (anche se poi, i peggiori governi non pssano mai rapidamente) e non vale la pena rinunciare alla cittadinanza del proprio paese a causa di un governo di persone indegne.
Comprendo benissimo però il tuo disagio, anche perché non si vedono ancora all'orizzione segni di inversione di tendenza...

Non credo più al transitorio, manca qualcosa di fondo. Cultura del rispetto. Si fanno governare dalle mafie, dai milionari, dai presidenti di altri paesi, dal flow di economia, dai soldi.
I soldi governano ogni aspetto.
Basta capire che prezzo abbiamo, perché tutti lo abbiamo. E, parafrasando J-Ax, "quando arrivi al top, resi intrappolato al pop come un topo". Questi sentono l'odore dei soldi, della bella vita, di un palco dal quale nessuno li tira giù, vogliono essere ascoltati, vogliono essere adorati, perché secondo loro ce l'hanno fatta. Vogliono essere democratici perché il popolo è sovrano ma decidono loro.
E democraticamente devono andare affanculo =)
