They indeed caused a serious energy crisis in countries that had built, ahem, self-inflicted dependency on Russian gas. At the same time Russian media published infantile videos with โEurope turning into iceโ and โEuropean parents feeding freezing kids with a soup made of pet hamsterโ.
And Europe essentially had shown them ๐๐๐- hereโs the fossil gas price in #Germany, now basically back to the 2016-2020 average.

Iโm not too keen to use #LLM for what companies are trying to push it for - even PagerDuty is now trying to convince me to use โAIโ for whatever - but I found that they really work great for tasks that I was never getting satisfactory results from classic algorithmic solutions.
Such as โhereโs a paragraph of text, generate five representative tags out of it, then summarise in a max 120 chars title, and then using yes/no decide if it should be marked as sensitiveโ. (thatโs done three prompts in practice ofc)
Iโve tried NLTK and other Pythonic tools, but the results wereโฆ well, just bland and not representative.
LLM does the job 100% as expected. Right now Iโm using ChatGPT API cheap using gpt-4o-mini because it makes prototyping easier, but next step will be trying to find a reasonably sized local LLM for that purpose.
