In the evening of 05.11.2025, a strike was carried out on launch positions and storage facilities of Geran-2 UAVs at the Donetsk airport base.
During the attack, both cruise missiles and strike drones were used. As a result of the strike:
- the ammunition warehouse was completely destroyed
- the fuel depot was destroyed
- the UAV pre-launch preparation point was destroyed
- power supply and communication units were damaged
At the time of the strike, there were up to 1000 Geran-2 UAVs and more than 1500 warheads on the airfield territory.
