🤬 Apparently, we're getting another cat... I managed to push it off until after my kissmate gets back from her [scheduled for] 2 week stay at a [neck/shoulder/spinal] Rehaklinik across the Rhine, which starts Wednesday.

I threw a hissy fit: no way is she saddling me with acclimating a new cat while she takes off for two weeks, possibly longer.

Otherwise I would have had to get her today. Instead, we'll be getting the cat at the end of February.

She's a 2ish year old chipped British Shorthair named Leila.

The owner is a Kaffeeklatsch buddy of my kissmate. I'm fuzzy on the details of why she wants to rid herself of a perfectly beautiful and pedigreed pussy.

I don't want another cat.

I'm angry because once again, it happened "behind my back". No input from me was sought, and guess who gets to do all the work?

I doesn't matter that I'll love her dearly. I love all cats, even the assholes. I love Fuck You We're Getting Another Cat, which is Harley's "real" name, too.

I still don't want another cat.

I shall name her The Other Fuck You Cat.

I have just noticed that the noodles I am cooking have a symbol on the packaging indicating it is five (out of five) chillies, and is labelled “Made in Sichuan”.
