LibreWolf is one of the best browsers for people who don't like generative AI.Here is the statement posted on Mastodon:
As there seems to have been recent confusion about this, just a quick "official" toot to then pin: we haven't and won't support "generative AI" related stuff in LibreWolf. If you see some features like that (like Perplexity search recently, or the link preview feature now) it is solely because it "slipped through". As soon as we become aware of something like this / it gets reported to us, we will remove/disable it ASAP.

premesso che chiunque decida di far pagare quello che prima era gratis mi fa schifo, in un certo senso posso anche capire quelli di Facebook: su Facebook la maggior parte dei link sono di bassa qualità, notizie clickbait o spam vero e proprio. Se andiamo a vedere dal punto di vista dell'esperienza utente, dell'utente medio, limitare i link non peggiorerà la situazione. Anzi...
Sarei d'accordo anche col fatto dei clickbait, di cui Facebook ormai è piena; però anche lì, da uno che ottiene il 10 per cento del fatturato dalle truffe, quando ci pensi l'umore ti diventa cattivo in un nanosecondo
