Ho la stessa domanda..
Usare energia nucleare non produce CO2. Anzi, usare l'energia nucleare invece di produrre elettricità bruciando gas abbatte una cifra la produzione di CO2.
Inoltre è energia a basso costo (denaro che le aziende potranno reinvestire in miglioramenti e magari stipendi) e diminuisce la dipendenza dalle forniture estere (bilancia dei pagamenti).
Cosa non ho capito?
Comunque l'articolo è sulla crisi climatica, almeno su quella siamo d'accordo che esiste XD

Un progetto del genere diventerebbe un pozzo senza fondo, e se fai le cose come vuoi tu (all'italiana, appunto) poi l'IAEA non ti dà la licenza per operare. E l'IAEA ha diritto di veto.

Una centrale richiede enormi investimenti iniziali, poi è tutta in discesa.
Una centrale che costa 30 MLD e che dura 30 anni deve guadagnare di 1 MLD all'anno per ripagarsi.
Un reattore da 1000MW/h (taglia "media") deve vendere l'energia a 11¢/KWh per raggiungere la soglia, che non è male ma non è proprio poco.
Poi la vita reale di una centrale è di 50 anni (estendibile a 80), che porta la cifra a 7¢ e 4¢.

mi rifacevo ai dati europei: in Francia, dove ci sono diverse centrali nucleari, l'energia costa molto meno proprio per la presenza del nucleare.
Magari una centrale a gas costa meno in quanto a costruzione, ma poi ogni singolo KW prodotto dipende dal gas, che deve essere pagato, mentre il materiale fissile è a bassissimo costo e dura molto tempo.
Quindi sì, proprio facendo un'analisi dei costi l'energia nucleare è a basso costo.

Torniamo sul punto. La frase contestata è "Usare energia nucleare non produce CO2". Bufala smentita dai dati IPCC.
Smentita questa menzogna possiamo parlare di quello che vuoi, e dire ad esempio che la produzione di CO2 del nucleare è paragonabile a quella dell'eolico, con la differenza che per il nucleare IPCC indica rischi che non ci sono per le rinnovabili e che agevolo in figura.

Non sono un esperto e sono ovviamente pro rinnovabili, ma credo il vantaggio del nucleare sulle rinnovabili sia la sua stabilità in output.
Del genere, se produci 100% con eolico e solare, in una giornata grigia senza vento non hai produzione, ed usare batterie non basta a compensare.
L'alternativa che vedo al nucleare è avere grosse riserve d'acqua con impianti idroelettrici, ma l'impatto ambientale penso sia comparabile al nucleare

Entrambe le volte la risposta è stata un chiaro ed inequivocabile "NO".
Quindi bisogna mettersi il cuore in pace: in italia il nucleare non si fa.
