Lato aziendale invece: quello è un problema, e oltre a quello l'utente medio. Nel 90% dei casi excel/word può benissimo essere rimpiazzato. Non parlo di chi usa macro o fa analisi finanziarie. Però appena lo proponi, sai bene cosa succede e come si scaldano gli animi solo perché cambi un icona a un pulsante.
È proprio cosi, in altri post facevo vari esempi.
Io sono sopravvissuto benissimo per 4 anni con Libre Office, pur facendo sistemista e Project Manager.
C'erano alcune funzioni in cui era un po' farraginoso, ma per altri versi era più snello.
Ci ho gestito alcuni fogli xla di log da 1 milione di record in ogni tab, quando Excel 2016 non li apriva neanche. Per dire.
@mau il Politecnico di Torino ci è riuscito. La tcnologia c'è, il problema è trovare (e pagare) le persone in grado di farlo partire e per gestirlo al meglio.
Ma una volta superato questo scoglio, le esternalità positivo sarebbero interessanti

L’aspetto dirimente è (per questo caso) riuscire a mantenere un’infrastruttura interna, il che non richiede solo hw e sw (€) ma anche human-ware. Che nella PA puoi assumere solo in corrispondenza di congiunzioni astrali e con stipendi poco attrattivi.
L’alternativa per le università è appoggiarsi a Cineca che ha una QoS non eccellente e non consente un buon controllo su feature ed evoluzione

Sì ma la scelta di sistema non è assumere nella PA gli informatici, ma far lavorare per la PA quei fornitori che si avvalgono di veri informatici e non quelle aziende che chiamo "configuratori certificati di cloud USA".
Queste aziende possono avvalersi di personale meno qualificato perché il know-how è tutto statunitense e in tal modo alterano il mercato del lavoro
