“Dancing on bones.” Russian occupation authorities are reopening the Mariupol Drama Theatre, destroyed in a 2022 airstrike while hundreds of civilians sheltered inside, including children. Russia has denied hitting the theatre and claimed the damage was caused by an explosion detonated inside the building, which was proven untrue.

The US declassified exchanges between US President Bush and Putin from 2008 in which Putin already called Ukraine an „artificial“ state, clearly denying its right for existence.
This is years before the war started and should remind us once again that Putin always wanted to take Ukraine. It also says that this war will never end with Putin in the Kremlin. It will go on until he is removed, permanently, and Russia fully dislodged. Everything else is just noise.
General Staff of Ukraine confirms overnight strikes on multiple Russian military targets. Infrastructure at the port of Temryuk was hit, with explosions and large fires at fuel storage tanks. A military airfield near Maykop was also struck and set ablaze.
Separately, a Russian repair unit in occupied Donetsk region was hit by UAVs. Additional confirmation shows Ukrainian drones earlier destroyed key radar and communications systems at Belbek Air Base in occupied Crimea.
The Orenburg gas processing station was reportedly struck. Last night locals reported of explosions and NASA Firms map indicate fires at this area.
The plant is operated by Gazprom and is one of the world's largest gas chemical complexes, processing gas from the unique Orenburg field and Kazakhstan's Karachaganak field, producing purified gas, sulfur, LPG, and condensate. The facility is around 1,200 km (750 miles) from the current frontline.

Oil shipments from Kazakhstan via Novorossiysk will drop by around 30 percent in December, according to Reuters. Exports through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium are set to hit their lowest level since October 2024 after damage at the main export terminal caused by a Ukrainian drone strike in November.
The terminal is operating with only one offshore loading point, with another disabled by the attack and a third stuck in delayed repairs due to bad weather near Novorossiysk.
The Kremlin claims it has seen reports about a so called "strange Christmas address" by Zelensky, describing it as uncultured and angry and questioning his adequacy.

Operations at the facility have reportedly been suspended.

In Kupyansk, Ukrainian forces are continuing to clear the city as the Russian grouping has lost the ability to hold its positions, the Joint Forces communication chief Viktor Tregubov says.
