Ich bekomme es in der Regel recht gut akustisch mit, wohin die Sache gefallen ist ich habe Zuhause Parkett), aber dann muss ich die Ecke doch mit den Augen absuchen.
Und es gibt ja auch blinde Menschen, die nicht sehr gut räumlich hören können, d.h. sie könnten dann nicht einmal darüber den Bereich eingrenzen.
In solchen Fällen ist so eine App echt eine gute Sache.

BTW: Wie klappt das denn eigentlich beim Überqueren von Ampelkreuzungen? Bekommst Du da die Richtung hin, aus der das Piepen kommt? Und kannst Du überhaupt das dauerhafte Klacken der Ampeln lokalisieren?
