I managed to build a PCB with surface mount components yesterday... on the first try! We used to do it at work years ago with an old toaster oven but the little mini hotplate is sooo much better.
I did lose one LED when it flew off the tweezers. It may be on the carpet, or the office dog may have eaten it. Oh well.
