There has been a regression in relation to forums in the 10.6 release. The issue has been fixed before the first reports dripped in. There is no official bugfix release yet but you can safely exec util/udall to pull the fix.
This kind of situations could probably be avoided if at least some people would actually use the RC to test the release. #justsayin'
