⚡️ Еврокомиссия запретила выдавать россиянам новые мультивизы

С сегодняшнего дня граждан:киРоссии не смогут получать многократные визы — теперь надо будет подавать заявление на новую визу каждый раз, когда человек планирует посетить страну ЕС.

Это якобы позволит проводить тщательную и частую проверку заявитель:ниц для снижения потенциальных рисков безопасности. Евродепутат:ки говорят, что цель запрета — снижение угрозы государственной политике и внутренней безопасность.

«Мы обязаны защищать наших граждан. Теперь к российским гражданам, запрашивающим визу для поездки в ЕС, будут применяться более строгие правила. Путешествие в ЕС и свободное передвижение по его территории — это привилегия, а не данность», — заявила верховный представитель ЕС по иностранным делам и политике безопасности Кая Каллас.

При этом в заявлении Еврокомиссии говорится, что под запрет не попадут «независимые журналисты, правозащитники или другие уязвимые категории, а также их близкие родственники». В то же время они не уточняют то, как будет работать система подобных исключений и кто будет принимать решение о предоставлении мультивизы.

Комиссар по внутренним делам и миграции Магнус Бруннер заявил, что заявление на визы, поданные россиян:ками, будут «подвергаться усиленным процедурам проверки и более тщательному контролю».

В Риге 10 тысяч человек вышли на акцию против отмены конвенции о борьбе с насилием в отношении женщин

На Домской площади вцентре Риги — столицы Латвии — прошел один из крупнейших протестов в современной истории страны. По данным местной полиции, около десяти тысяч человек вышли на протест против денонсации Стамбульской конвенции, направленной на борьбу с насилием в отношении женщин.

На митинге выступили Велта Чеботаренок и Дайнис Иванс — деятели Народного фронта Латвии, который выступал за независимость страны от СССР и добивался прекращения советской оккупации.

Что произошло?

▪️ 30 октября латвийский парламент (Сейм) во втором окончательном чтении утвердил законопроект о денонсации Конвенции. За это решение проголосовали пятьдесят шесть депутато:к от пророссийских партий «Стабильности» и «Латвия на первом месте», а также от националистических партий .

▪️ Против отмены Стамбульской конвенции выступили депутат:ки от центристских партий «Новое единство» и «Прогрессивные».

▪️ Президент Латвии Эдгарс Ринкевичс отказался подписывать принятый Сеймом закон о выходе из Стамбульской конвенции и отправил его на повторное рассмотрение в парламент.

▪️ Окончательное решение о выходе из Конвенции Совета Европы будет принимать следующий парламент, который изберут 3 октября 2026 года.

Что за конвенция?

▪️ Документ, принятый в Стамбуле в 2011 году, подписали 39 стран.

▪️ Он представляет собой «дорожную карту» по борьбе с домашним насилием и насилием в отношении женщин и считается одним из самых эффективных международных договоров по защите прав женщин.

▪️ В частности, он помог криминализовать различные формы сексуализированного насилия и домогательств в странах Европы.
