In other words, solarpunk isnโt Ghibli aesthetics as a policy target, but more about a visible potential for change.
For example, Iโve never seen solarpunk being discussed as anything other than the aesthetics itself. The policies exist independently, being either permaculture, 0-waste, low power computing, etcโฆ
So this video is great because it does propagate the solarpunk aesthetics all the while talking about sensible policies for tangible quality of living goals, which kind of proves the usefulness of solarpunk on as a thought provoking aesthetics.
