Власти Германии начали реформу в сфере разведки и кибербезопасности, которая позволит спецслужбам страны противостоять хакерам враждебных государств, проводя собственные наступательные кибероперации, пишет Politico.

#Russia Lavrov once again mentioned the “referendums” on the occupied territories of #Ukraine as a legal pretext for their annexation by Russia.

There’s one detail that is so obviously absurd here that… most media stopped talking about it: the Russians conducted ‘referendums’ that supposedly decided the fate of entire regions without even having full control over them.

This applies to both the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, but above all to the Zaporizhzhia region, where they did not and do not control, and have never controlled, even its capital, the city of #Zaporizhzhia, with a population of 700,000.

Kremlin doesn’t care because the whole point of the Russian narrative is to divert the international community’s attention away from the legal aspect (these ‘referendums’ were 100% illegal) and create the impression that ‘maybe they were illegal, but they were held, and the residents had their say’.

So let’s repeat it again clearly: the Russians are trying to convince us that they have the right to annex a city of 700,000 inhabitants, where their army has never even set foot, on the basis of a ‘referendum’ staged in some villages by the sea that they happened to control at the time 🤷

Russia is attempting to weaponise so-called “pacifist” movements in Europe to launder its war crimes, weaken democratic resolve, and pressure governments into cutting support for Ukraine.

Key individuals involved have been identified by Ukrainian intelligence:

• Elena Kolbasnikova — organiser of anti-Ukraine protests in Cologne and Düsseldorf, openly supports the Kremlin; received Russian citizenship in 2023.
• Max Schlund — her partner and coordinator of pro-Kremlin rallies in Germany, linked to Russian proxy networks and so-called “Cossack” structures.
• Vyacheslav Seeswald — a central distributor of Kremlin narratives within the Friedensbewegung network, operating via Telegram; maintains contacts with Russian intelligence and European far-right groups.

After searches by German prosecutors in 2024 over suspected illegal weapons possession, Kolbasnikova and Schlund fled to #Russia, further confirming their operational role.

Narratives Moscow is pushing:

– “Supporting Ukraine will trigger World War III” – “NATO and the EU are the real aggressors” – “Russia poses no threat to Europe”

Of course, these are not “peace” initiatives - by thwarting Europe’s defense they are enabling Russia’s aggression just like in the good old times, when Soviet rockets installed in Eastern Europe were presented as “peaceful” while Western rockets were “imperialist” 😄
