Yesterday, Soloviev came out with some fantastic nonsense about the ‘Russophobia’ of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence (!) and Starlink - it’s worth listening to the whole thing (English subtitles) video.echelon.pl/w/u6awSQ7YG1A… - but it is also a good excuse to remind on what legal basis Starlink actually works in the Russian army. Well, as is often the case… on none. Starlink has no legal basis in the Russian army and operates illegally, as Russian military analysts have been quick to point out.

Both #Starlink and #OneWeb attempted to legally enter the Russian market in 2017-2018 but were blocked by the FSB and #Roscosmos, which announced the construction of its own Skif system. Dmitry #Rogozin, as head of Roscosmos, spoke at length at the time about Starlink being a Pentagon agency and made many grandiose announcements about the launch of a Russian system that would be a hundred times better. It is not difficult to guess that, as is often the case in Russia, it ended with grandiose announcements and none of the several hundred satellites were launched into orbit.

The Skif programme itself was shut down last year, but it was replaced by a new programme called Rassvet (dawn), which was supposed to have 16 low-orbit satellites in space by 2025, but has… zero. Musk recently explained that the famous incident when Starlink cut off communication with a Ukrainian naval drone near Crimea was due to American sanctions and not the ill will of the company itself, which risked legal consequences if it had tolerated an unknown terminal operating in the sanctioned territory of occupied Crimea at the time.

In summary, as of 2026, the Russian army widely uses Starlink devices purchased privately by Russians in the West and literally carried in their luggage to Russia, where they operate on the basis of private subscriptions in a manner that is completely illegal from the point of view of Russian law and semi-legal from the point of view of Starlink, which, after all, has no right to operate on Russian territory, but most of them are concentrated on the front line, i.e. effectively on Ukrainian territory.

And the Russians could probably continue to use them if it weren’t for the fact that Rubicon began installing Starlink on drones carrying out deep strikes on Ukrainian territory, including power plants and an exceptionally heinous attack on a civilian bus near Pavlohrad, where a real-time controlled ‘Geran’ drone with Starlink killed 16 miners. Starlink began by introducing restrictions on fast-moving terminals, 90% of which are drones, and is now working with the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence on a ‘white list’ of terminals belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which should eliminate all Russian terminals operating in the frontline zone.

Why wasn’t this done earlier? Because some of the Ukrainian terminals were also imported privately and were not always registered with the Ministry of Defence for various reasons, so Russian terminals were actually tolerated for convenience, but now this should come to an end.

If this comes to fruition, the Russians will be left empty-handed, despite Rogozin’s grand announcements about a ‘hundred times better’ Russian system, which has only one drawback: it does not exist.

Una rete di milionari e principi, politici e ex capi di governo, CEO tech e finanziatori, mediatori e faccendieri, consulenti che entrano ed escono da palazzi e aziende, figure che orbitano tra intelligence corrotta e diplomazia, agitatori della destra nera, registi, attori, ex-fidanzate, figlie di agenti segreti, che fanno da ponte tra ambienti, presentazioni, matrimoni, tutto usato per legittimare frequentazioni, favori, coperture.
E in questa rete ped0fila e ped0terrorista, come potevano mancare, ovviamente, i nodi del circuito izr4elo-americano: ex presidenti izra€liani che visitano Epstein, un ex agente del m0ssad, e che parlano di investimenti in tecnologie di sorveglianza e di imprese come Palantir, facendo i nomi della Silicon Valley come Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, Altman.
Vorrei dire che mi colpisce il tono di queste email: l’autosoddisfazione, la calma con cui si muovono, come se nulla potesse toccarli. Ma non è così. Email di aggiornamenti tra pari - “come va?”, “a che punto siamo?”, “quale mossa conviene?”. In mezzo gli abusi: il traffico di minori, la predazione seriale, foto in cui uomini adulti, viscidi e potenti cingono ragazzine. Questa roba è fatta soprattutto da uomini, bianchi, occidentali, ricchi. Una classe che non va mai in galera. E infatti, la stessa gestione della pubblicazione dei file è stata contestata. Diverse sopravvissute hanno denunciato un rilascio “incompleto” e traumatico, perché ha esposto i nomi delle vittime mentre continua a proteggere l'identità di abusanti e facilitatori.
Il secondo livello è il denaro. Nelle carte torna ossessivamente la logica del pagare meno tasse possibile e del trasformare ogni piega normativa in rendita: residenze “strategiche”, giurisdizioni compiacenti, consulenze che in pochi mesi costruiscono fortune, strumenti fiscali che diventano strumenti di controllo. Non è solo avidità, è architettura politica. I file, infatti, sono una cronaca della destra contemporanea.
Per anni lo scandalo è stato usato come arma di parte: destra contro sinistra, liberal contro conservatori. Ma ciò che affiora è una genealogia. Una filiera di potere che attraversa oligarchie “moderate” e oligarchie reazionarie, con una convergenza di interessi materiali e una stessa cultura dell’impunità, dentro cui la destra autoritaria viene costruita come prodotto. La narrativa del “popolo” contro “le élite” viene prodotta e finanziata da quelle stesse élite.
Alcune email parlano ad esempio dei contatti e delle strategie tra Steve Bannon e un circuito di relazioni orientato a rafforzare l’ondata sovranista in Europa, con riferimenti a Matteo Salvini e a Marine Le Pen. Le conversazioni mostrano come la destra che si presenta “anti-sistema” nasca in realtà dentro un laboratorio elitario, iper-finanziato, internazionale, violento e illegale, basato su propaganda e reclutamento.
Su un punto quindi i complottisti avevano ragione. Sì, esistono élite che trafficano influenza, protezioni e corruzione morale; sì, esistono reti di abusi e sfruttamento. L’errore è stato trasformare tutto in esoterismo, in demonologia. Le carte mostrano un orrore molto più “normale”: ricatto, sesso come potere, denaro, impunità, istituzioni piegate. Fascismo, destra, capitalismo ultraliberale, servizi segreti, affarismo e zone grigie.
Proprio gli elettori che in questi anni hanno urlato contro “i poteri forti” hanno consegnato il governo - nei loro Paesi - a pezzi di quell’ecosistema o a politici che ne fanno parte, mentre le destre li convincevano che il nemico fosse altrove: i migranti, i poveri, “la sinistra”, i diritti civili.
I file sono una mappa del potere. Una mappa lordata che mostra le linee di creazione delle destre contemporanee, dei liberali compiacenti, e del tipo di mondo economico che le ha generate.
