A very nice first day at FOSDEM. I spent time at the @matrix booth and met overwhelmingly enthusiastic people, then left it to our fabulous team of volunteers.
Iโve met Allan and @jsparber at the @gnome booth, got one of those fabulous systemd T-shirts, said hi to the @postmarketOS gang, got a T-shirt and brainstormed with @pabloyoyoista, got to thank Proxmox and OpenTofu for the great tools they provide.
#FOSDEM is where internet friends materialize.

It's been a really good day here at #FOSDEM and has been well worth the trip. Tomorrow I've got a few less talks and looking forward to a lot of mooching and catching up with folks.
I ended up spending later half of the afternoon in the social Web dev room and got to listen in on some talks I wasn't expecting, whole thing has been really good and I look forward to getting stuck in looking at a whole load of projects I either had been meaning to look at or had never come across before today.
Excited for tomorrow and it's great getting to spend the evening with some folks I've met today enjoying some pizza!
