🇷🇺 A Russian court sentenced a U.S. citizen to five years in jail for crossing the border with a weapon when he sailed from the United States to meet a Russian woman he met over the Internet.
The man, identified as Charles Wayne Zimmerman, pleaded guilty but told the court that the weapon was stored on his yacht for self-defence and he had not been aware of the Russian law.

first and foremost, we need to strengthen our air defence and recover from the strikes, as well as ensure effective coordination on the ground and with our partners. A significant number of russian ballistic missiles, including cruise missiles, are quite new, having been manufactured this year.

Unfortunately, russia still has ways to circumvent international sanctions and obtain critical components without which such russian missiles would simply not exist. On its own, the russian state does not have the capacity to produce the weapons it is using against #Ukraine,
