When the heart is truly transformed, temptation loses its power. Self-control means taking responsibility for your own desires, not placing the burden on others. A disciplined heart governs the flesh, not the other way around.

But every now and then, when both kids are out... we fully realize how empty and quiet things become. No footsteps, no laughter, nothing. Just, utter silence.
It certainly must be quite the change for you and I hope you can make "peace" with your new found space (and solitude!)
