#Poland Deputy Minister of Defence Paweล Zalewski confirmed that Poland has invited #Ukraine to cooperate within the framework of the new EU SAFE programme. This is a new investment scheme aimed at developing the European defence industry.
The share of funds attracted by Poland will be directed towards cooperation with Ukraine in the field of drone and anti-drone systems, the purchase of weapons for Ukraine, as well as joint Polish-Ukrainian defence investments.
According to as yet unconfirmed estimates, Ukraine could actually receive more than $2 billion from the Polish โenvelopeโ.
