Studio interessante di 9 anni fa sulla dislessia e i caratteri: in breve, non sono stati notati miglioramenti nella lettura usando il carattere Open Dyslexic (il più gettonato). In generale, non sembrano esserci prove che questi caratteri funzionino, per quanto vengano sbandierati come efficaci - con anzi il rischio di portare ancora più frustrazione alle persone dislessiche, che al non notare cambiamenti potrebbero sentirsi sbagliate.

#Poland Deputy Minister of Defence Paweł Zalewski confirmed that Poland has invited #Ukraine to cooperate within the framework of the new EU SAFE programme. This is a new investment scheme aimed at developing the European defence industry.
The share of funds attracted by Poland will be directed towards cooperation with Ukraine in the field of drone and anti-drone systems, the purchase of weapons for Ukraine, as well as joint Polish-Ukrainian defence investments.
According to as yet unconfirmed estimates, Ukraine could actually receive more than $2 billion from the Polish “envelope”.

„There was an underestimation of the enemy and overestimation of their (Ukrainian) troops. Everyone began to say that the war would end in three days.
(…)
Before the invasion began, the Russian leadership received reports that 70% of Ukrainians were for Russia and 30% against. It turned out the opposite, 30% for and 70% against."
I would say that even those 70% were too optimistic and today it is certainly close to 99%.

Metti che qualcuno di Varese sia su mastodon.social: non lo sposti da lì, ma un elenco di account locali, attivi e affidabili gli è utilissimo.
Ed è esattamente una cosa che dovrebbero fare tutte le istanze, se vogliono smettere di vivere chiuse nella propria isolette e iniziare a farsi conoscere anche all’esterno.

Basterebbe da parte dei devol sponsorizzare ogni tanto qualche istanza più piccolina per far conoscere a chi non lo sapesse che esistono altre istanze. E decentralizzare veramente il fediverso italiano…
Poi il team di Mastodon sta lavorando agli starter pack. Fra un po sarà possibile crearli nativamente.

il problema non è m1 è l'attività hobbistica di molte istanze che ovviamente non hanno le conoscenze ne la voglia di promuoversi. l'anno scorso ho partecipato a incontri dibattiti e ho conosciuto persone a milano, bolzano, bruxelles, verona, Pavia, ma di cosa stiamo parlando?
