Especially for small, even personal, projects JSDocs enhanced with TS types as shown in the video is enough to gain benefits but stilll avoiding some cons like using the TS compiler directly.
But for bigger projects I would still recommend in the end to go the full road towards 100% TypeScript in the long-run.

Okay, running into some WTF-ery in the realm of network layer operations and security.
So, I have this network. It has some border routers, and inside the border routers are some core routers. I saw a message on a core router (so, one full device behind the outside edge of my network) that said this:
> ospf[1027]: %ROUTING-OSPF-4-BADLENGTH : Invalid length 37614 in OSPF packet from x.x.x.x (ID y.y.y.y), HundredGigE0/0/0/0
Neither x.x.x.x nor y.y.y.y are IPs in my network or in my interior routing protocol at all. They are both several AS's away.
OSPF is based on multicast, and I can't easily see a way for it to get several hops inside my network like that. I don't think there's a way to send a unicast packet that will get read as an ospf packet by the destination host. What the heck am I looking at, here? I feel like I am missing something obvious but if so, I don't know what. (which is kind of implicit in "missing," but, you know).

Ieri la mia bimba più piccola è venuta a casa piangendo perché i suoi compagni di scuola sostengono che "gli #hacker sono tutti cattivi e rubano i dati".
La mia prima risposta è stata che al momento i maggiori ladri e ricettatori di dati sono #Google, #Microsoft, #Amazon, #Facebook, #IBM e #Apple (la #GMAFIA, ex #GAFAM).
Quando però mi ha risposto mortificata che aveva provato a spiegarlo, ma loro gli dicevano che questi sono "i buoni che ci difendono dagli hacker", ho provato a cercare con lei il termine hacker sulla enciclopedia #Treccani che, sebbene proponga una definizione un po' stereotipata e superficiale, almeno mi ha aiutato a rassicurarla che il suo papà non è un mostro cattivo.
Che sarà di quei bimbi che credono ciecamente nella bontà delle #BigTech?

Ricordo solo che l'etica hacker non c'entra con i presunti "hacker etici". L'hacker è sempre etico: lo è in quanto hacker e la definizione di "hacker etico" è addirittura riduttiva, perché privilegia la morale comune all'etica hacker...
