The Defend American Jobs crypto-focused super PAC has just poured more than $12 million into Republican Bernie Moreno's campaign against incumbent Democrat Sherrod Brown in the Ohio Senate race.
This is the largest crypto PAC expenditure involving a single candidate so far.

Brown is a powerful opponent of the crypto industry as the Chair of the Senate Banking Committee. He has been outspoken against illicit crypto use, and has called crypto a "mirror of the same broken [financial] system with even less accountability".
This expenditure has tilted crypto super PAC spending dramatically in favor of Republicans, with roughly twice as much in spending going to support Republicans as Democrats.

Defend American Jobs is directly funded by Andreessen Horowitz, Coinbase, Ripple, and Multicoin Capital. Most of its funding comes via the affiliated Fairshake crypto PAC (which itself boasts the same top three funders, and others such as Jump Crypto and the Winklevosses).
